I have no contradiction. For example, trees with water vapor, etc., rely on places, etc., to produce water. For sound, it is different due to different causes, etc., just like subsequent inferences. Here, if it is not understood how to establish the Dharma with manifest perception, it needs to be fully established in the Dharma of the locus, then how can the young non-taker not realize smoke, etc., as the nature of the commonality, without manifest perception? Or, when holding one's own nature or the Dharma-possessor, if it is just approaching, if one thinks about what holds the connection between these, and argues again, then therefore, manifest perception is in the front, and the subsequent smoke, etc., is the reason for the Dharma, and this is how it is explained. Because manifest perception goes first, how do subsequent inferences, etc., change? If the unconscious root consciousness does not rely on memory, then, because there is no such realization, the connection between the sign and the Dharma-possessor will not be held either. If it is said that this is because of abandoning the holding of signs, etc., by manifest perception, it is because there is no discrimination. For discrimination, because it is not desired to benefit with actual things, therefore, the previous viewing consciousness is initially without discrimination. The knowledge of children, the deaf and mute, etc., is the same as that arising from tiny real objects. Apart from that, from real phenomena, any determining knowledge of types, etc., is also considered to be manifest perception. If it is said like this, then only the Sugata has the characteristic of holding the connection between the sign and the Dharma-possessor here, and these non-discriminating manifest perceptions are faults. We who want to have manifest perception with discrimination will not change as it is said, if you think like this. Therefore, in order to eliminate the accusations of others, the side with smoke, etc., is mentioned. The meaning contained here is this: manifest perception is the dependent and the depended that are present in front, smoke and place, etc., with the nature of establishment, smoke, etc., retreat from similar and dissimilar categories, because each abides in its own nature, so all the abilities are the nature of not mixing with each other. How the subsequent arising from its ability abides

From that, two kinds of conceptualization, refutation and establishment, will arise. That which is known as dharma and possessor of dharma by means of smoke on the ground, is also like the support and the supported, it exists here but not elsewhere, thus it is examined. Just as habitual experience is eliminated, and through other co-operative conditions, conceptualization arises. Therefore, the nature of dharma and possessor of dharma is definite and related, and the certainty is established by the reason of direct perception. In that way, the certainty that smoke is related to direction is the determination that 'this is on this', and conceptualization also only establishes the aspect as described by direct perception, because there is no existence in the form of support and supported. Apart from two entities, there is no connection of any characteristic of support and supported. After the experience of direct perception, there will be a transformation, just as there is a transformation from an object, because it has been negated. Therefore, it itself abides in that way, relying on two things, conceptualization is only fabrication. That is, relation and the one with relation, and the difference that is pervasive, through excluding others and not excluding others, are called the nominal designation of the subject in the world, but not in the ultimate sense. The general designation is also widely made, not relying on the difference from dissimilar categories of things. Even though they are different, through experience, the nature of being devoid of difference from dissimilar categories is the cause of knowledge that is determined as one. As it is said: 'One understanding knowing meaning etc., for the sake of accomplishing one meaning, although different by nature, are definite like the senses etc.' Therefore, the memory of general conceptualization only grasps the good aspect, and the form of smoke appearing there and the difference from dissimilar categories is only grasped by direct perception. The difference from dissimilar categories is not different from the opposite, because some things will not be grasped by direct perception. Therefore, just as the seen smoke etc., the difference of its own characteristics from others, is also what I have examined, and the one who understands in this way is also certain.
