Because it abides in its own nature, and because it is of a nature that is not mixed with the nature of others. If it were not so, how could those non-existent cessations be established without being mixed up? Because if one were to establish mixed things without mixing them, it would lead to the fault of confusion. Therefore, when only the nature that is not mixed with the nature of others definitely appears as its own nature, the only appearance that is not mixed with the nature of others, which is the direct perception arising from the single function of that, should not appear as the nature of others, and if that becomes confused, then the direct perception is lost. It is said thus: Those born from its function, following its nature, etc., that is meaningless. Because it is known by self-awareness direct perception from the knowledge that definitely appears as its and its own nature. That knowledge is the direct perception that distinguishes and separates its nature, and by its power, later arises the conceptual thought that knows that this is not the nature of another, abiding without mixing, because of grasping the grasped, therefore there is no knowledge of anything that did not exist before, but it is because it completely decides by following the aspect of the direct perception of the nature that is not mixed with the nature of others. If the knowledge that definitely appears as its own nature is like that, then, how does it separate that from the nature of others? It said that its nature is and so on. Because the nature of that thing, which is not mixed with the nature of others, is not the nature of all other things. Because everything is of a nature different from that. If it were not so, then self or otherness would be lost. Therefore, the knowledge itself that definitely appears as its own nature is the negation of it or others. Knowledge does not grasp things with the hand, but it is negation from others. Because it is said that only following the unique nature that is not mixed with the nature of others is negation from others. Or, when the nature of others does not detach from its own object, then it completely distinguishes the nature of others from its own object. Self and other are also different.

Establishment also changes from the complete negation of it. If it is not so, because other things are not negated, then this very nature of complete negation, which is completely negated as one's own nature, will become the nature of rejection. That would also lead to the complete negation of the nature of others because there is no negation, and because there is no entry or rejection, it would lead to the same fault as before, just like seeing fire, but not only seeing fire. If the unique one is rejected from the nature of others, then in order to show that its nature is not all others, "place" etc. are mentioned. That is, from the place, time, nature, and state that are determined in front, the nature that is rejected from other places etc., is its own nature that arises only from its own causes etc. The object of the mind that follows the nature of such a form of the nature that is determined by place etc., that itself is immutable. The nature of place, time, nature, and state is to distinguish one's own place, that is, to differentiate. Furthermore, why is it established to differentiate from other places etc.? It is said, "If it is so." "If" means why. To differentiate from other places etc. is originally to completely negate the meaning of determining places etc., because it follows its nature. If it is not so, if it does not follow the nature of other places etc. to it, it will not be differentiated. That itself is also the very determination of its place etc., and at that time only that itself is seen. Other places etc. are considered to be other. Because why is it so, it is said, "Because of that." Because it has become other, it possesses other places etc. Becoming like that, that is, possessing its places etc., the differentiation itself is what makes it realize. Saying "That is complete negation" is a summary of the previous. Therefore, becoming like that, the very other is the result of summarizing with the very differentiation. With this reason that has been said, one valid cognition of direct perception and inference enters. That is also like that, one's own
