In order to (do this). Like saying "not by severing connections with others," and so on. Connection with others is connection with others. Here, "property of the subject" is to sever non-connection, but not to sever connection with others. Therefore, the meaning of the word is only "property of the subject," but not "merely the property of the subject." Like saying "for example, Indra's son holding a bow," and so on. Here, saying "only Indra's son holds a bow" is to eliminate other excellent bow-holders. Because some want to determine by severing non-connection, and some want to determine by severing connection with others, where does this arbitrary statement come from? In a place where there is doubt about the nature of a dharma, when establishing existence, it is reasonable to sever non-existence. This itself is severing non-connection. For example, does a black thing hold a bow? Or does it not? When there is doubt about whether a black thing holds a bow, if one says "a black thing holds a bow," then it is severing the very impossibility of holding a bow. Where the nature of a dharma has been established, but there is doubt about whether other excellences exist or not, and one expresses words to establish non-existence, then that is severing connection with others. For example, Indra's son holding a bow has been established, but there is doubt about whether others have something similar? If one says "Indra's son holds a bow," then that is severing connection with others. Similarly, when there is doubt about whether things like the sound of dripping water have properties such as being an agent, the word that establishes the property of the subject should only sever non-connection, but not sever connection with others. For the time being, in this way, having abandoned all faults of the property of the subject, the tenet has been established. Wanting to explain other limbs, therefore it is said, "a part of that is a property of that," where the word "that" refers to the entire subject, being the main one.

Because it is the present and not long past, it is reasonable to pursue the Dharma, However, because it is impossible, one can only combine aspects. Just like that, for the Dharma, there is no other Dharma. The word called "part" is used to express the Dharma. Just like that, the sound called "aspect" here only refers to the possessor of Dharma. Therefore, how could the sound called "part" become a word for a branch? Considering that one wants to show the nature of pervasion, one says, "Is pervasion only that on which a pervader exists?" and so on. Comprehension is pervasion, which is synonymous with "completion." Sometimes, it is thought that one should say it is the Dharma of the pervader, and sometimes, it is thought that one should say it is the Dharma that is pervaded. Whenever it is the Dharma of the pervader, that reason is only pervasive when there is a Dharma to be proven. Without a doubt, that exists, and it is a synonym expressed as the sound of pervasion. If it is not like that, then the desired pervasion is impossible. If one must definitely say, "Now only the pervader exists," then at that time, it will become the characteristic of the impossible. Because there is no Dharma that is only pervaded by the Dharma to be proven. However, if one must definitely say, "Only that has a pervader," then at that time, combining with one side of the similar class, just beginning to arise, etc., will not become the reason itself. Because impermanence does not only exist in things that have just begun to arise, but also exists in lightning. Measurable things, etc., which are common, will also become the reason itself, because just like that, permanence only exists in measurable things. Whenever one thinks that one should say it is the Dharma that is pervaded, because pervasion is only where there is something to be pervaded, therefore, only in things that possess the Dharma to be proven is the existence of a reason pervasive. There is no reason without the Dharma to be proven, this is a synonym. If it is not like that, then the desired pervasion is impossible. Here too, if one must definitely say, "That only has something to be pervaded," then at that time, it will become the characteristic of the impossible. Those who possess the Dharma to be proven, the reason
