DTG189 0005.A Detailed Explanation of the Drop of Reasoning..g2.0f

E na. Therefore, it is said, "Because possibility itself is the nature of things." In reality, possibility itself is the very nature of things, but from the ultimate point of view, it is not different from the self-nature of things. Thus, after showing that the object of perception is the nature of the object, in order to show the entry of negation, it is said, "The object of perception other than that," and so on. The pot and so on, which are to be negated, are capable of generating consciousness in the form of their own objects. Other than that, whatever is capable of generating the object of perception as the side of emptiness of the pot, that itself is called non-object of perception here. In order to match the previous reasoning, it is said, "As before." Because it is a different entity for the object of perception that one wants to express, just like it cannot be destroyed by non-existence and cannot be touched, all the meanings have been said. If the word "other" is a general term, then how can one not enter into the non-object of perception itself, but only the consciousness of the side of emptiness of the pot, or only the side of emptiness of the pot, and without distinction, all that is to be expressed as other is not just that? Therefore, therefore, it is said, "Because there is no difference in possibility itself, where does one perceive what," and so on. In the case of places and so on, where does one perceive what form and so on, then which other dharma will necessarily become the object of perception, that dharma is related to that form and so on. The absence of difference in possibility itself is the cause of necessarily becoming the object of perception. Like this, if one perceives form and so on, because it is the same in the nature of possibility, the second will also necessarily become the object of perception. How is that related? It is said, "Because it is related to one consciousness." Both are related to one consciousness. Like this, when that consciousness arises in the form of two dharmas, it shows that the two are related to self-nature. Why does that consciousness necessarily become the form of two dharmas? Therefore, it is said, "If those two exist," and so on. If those things that are the same in the nature of possibility exist, then one must

Therefore, there will be no realization. Here it is said, "Because it is impossible as a reason." Because by what, will those two appear as one? The other is not, this is impossible. Wanting to completely abandon the fundamental argument, therefore, in conclusion, it is said, "Therefore, here, the nature of suitability is without difference," and so on. Because for what reason, those two, because of suitability, are the same in nature, therefore, related to one consciousness, therefore, in this case of non-apprehension, those two, because of proximity, those who have the nature of suitability without difference, should be regarded as others only by relying on each other, not as objects spoken of as the sound of others without difference. Those who have the nature of suitability without difference are those who have the nature of suitability itself without difference. Those who have the state of being related to one consciousness are those who are related to one consciousness. The "this" mentioned here refers to non-apprehension. Thus, here it is shown that those related to one consciousness are established as others only by relying on each other. In order to show non-apprehension, therefore, it is said, "Relying only on that," and so on. When, relying only on the pot as mentioned before, the pot is different from that, at that time, non-apprehension is the knowledge of the place away from the pot, or the nature of the place away from the pot. When that is knowledge, at that time, non-apprehension is the characteristic of the dharma as the object of knowledge. When that is its nature, at that time, it is the characteristic of the dharma as the object of knowledge. Thus, non-apprehension is: becoming the action that abides in the agent, or the action that abides in the object. If the agent abides, then non-apprehension is knowledge. If the object abides, then non-apprehension is the nature of the object. Thus, after entering in a non-such manner and distinguishing non-apprehension, in order to show what is to be established here, therefore, it is said, "Its counterpart is non-existence, or it is established as non-existence," and so on. What is the statement of the nature of non-apprehension,

That is to prove the imputation of terms to things that do not exist, such as vases. The cause and the pervasive cause, taking fire as an example, prove the non-existence and the imputation of terms to the non-existence, while the non-perception of self-nature only imputes terms to the non-existence. The imputation of terms to non-existence is the characteristic of knowledge, expression, and action, that is, knowledge with such a form as "there is no vase here", and the expression that expresses things in this way, and the characteristic of the action of going and coming to that place without doubt. The other party said that when the non-perception is not the self-nature of the object, in order to show that the non-perception is not allowed, therefore, he said, "How can there be another existence that is non-existence?" etc. What is the self-nature of the object, how can there be no vase? For what reason does the non-perception of the self-nature of non-existence become the imputation of terms to non-existence? Here, the other party's idea is that when the non-perception is separated from the self-nature of existing things by the reason of the fruit and the self-nature, then it will inevitably become the self-nature of non-existence. If it is not so, the separation is meaningless. If the non-perception of the self-nature of the existence of others is explained by the difference, then is it certain that the existence of others is meaningful, that is, non-existence? Therefore, you say so, this is your idea. Therefore, the accusation such as "How can there be another existence?" etc. will appear here, which is the doubt of the former. The proponent said that in order to remember what was said before, here he said, "Entering in a non-such way, in a dependent way," etc., entering in a non-such way the same things as the nature of permissibility, is non-existence in a dependent way, and non-perception in a dependent way, and not only negation, which has been said before. It is said that when non-existence and non-perception are established in the nature of non-being, only the self-nature is without a vase in the way of the place where the vase is empty. Therefore
