That it becomes so is in order to obtain the distinctiveness of the constant self-nature, which depends on other co-operative conditions. Therefore, in order to generate the desired result from those co-operative conditions, through the passage of moments, one obtains similarity in essence, similarity in determination, and great similarity, like the last moment. Therefore, in all cases, one should recognize that the characteristic of accomplishing the same thing by being dominated by a single moment is co-operation itself. Again, how do those who have obtained a different essence generate the desired result? Therefore, it is mentioned, "For that cause and conditions," and so on. For that continuation of cause, that is, those causes called "proximate causes," and those co-operative conditions, the first moment that approaches them, if there is no cause of destruction, but naturally disappears, then, only from those causes and conditions will the second moment arise, which is close to generating the desired result. From the second moment, the third moment arises even closer. From the third moment, the fourth moment arises very close, so that gradually, as the result arises, until the last collection of causes that has difference, this is the order in which the result arises. Therefore, from the co-operative things, having heard the characteristic of the difference in essence arising through the passage of moments, one is convinced that the result arises from the last moment of the cause. Here, in order for the opponent to find fault, it is said, "From the cause of the very correct difference arising from the co-operative things," and so on. If it is thought that the result arises only from those co-operative things that have obtained difference, then that difference itself will not arise, because the difference itself is also the result of the characteristic of generating a difference in essence, and in order to generate it, the co-operative things have not become different. Regarding this, if it is thought that only the co-operative things that have not become different will generate difference, then, therefore,

It is said, "From the non-possessor of parts," and so on. If it is admitted that particularities arise from co-operators that have not obtained a distinct particularity, then at that time it must also be admitted that a result is produced, because it is the same as what is to be proven, this is what was thought. Therefore, without relying on the mutual arising of particularities, only co-operators will produce a result. If that is so, then what will be established? Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, not momentary," and so on. Because of what reason do co-operators not rely on the mutual arising of particularities, yet produce a result, therefore, those that are not momentary also become the same as this, those that produce a result without relying on co-operators, there is no expectation of particularities arising from those. If one thinks in this way, that the particularity of the first aggregate is also desired to arise from co-operators. Therefore, it is said, "Even if a particularity arises," and so on. If the first particularity is produced, the co-operators mutually produce particularities, and after that, producing that particularity also relies on the co-operators mutually producing particularities, like this, the second, third, and so on, are without end. Or, this is another meaning, if the first aggregate, each individually with its own co-operators, in a state of distinction, produces a particularity, and the second moment obtains a particularity and then produces, if this is admitted, then at that time, producing that particularity also relies on the production of co-operators, those that appear in a state of distinction, each individually expects a particularity to arise from its own co-operators, those also from their own, those other than those also know from their own, if that is so, then it will be without end, and what is without end is not rational anywhere, this is what was thought. Here, those that appear in a state of distinction, each individually with its own co-operators, through the means of benefit, should seek endless faults.
