If that is the case, then when it depends on other fruits, why should it be left unattended? If it cannot be left unattended, what can be done? Therefore, it is said, "Not mixing with others," etc. Even if other desires are called upon, it will not be mixed, and the fruit will grow naturally. If that is the case, what merit is there? If that is the case, it is said, "By this self," etc. If the fruit depends on others, but still grows strongly and alone, then it has eliminated its own power. If it is not like that, if it becomes like being powerless or despised, how can it function? Therefore, not stopping growth shows that the fruit grows without a doubt. To show that this is contradictory, it is said, "The fruit depends on others," etc. Saying "The fruit depends on other causes and conditions" means that the constant intention is not produced solely from that one. Saying "The object of constant intention itself is the nature of ability" means that it is produced from that one. How can birth and non-birth exist in one thing? To refute the opponent's previous conclusion, therefore, it is said, "The sting of jealousy," etc. Because in this way, birth and non-birth are not contradictory in one thing, it is said that this person who is deeply stung by the sting of jealousy will only indulge and complain, so it should be ignored. Because this is the cause of inward-looking suffering. Jealousy itself is the sting, because this has been allowed, so combine the words in this way. "Indulgence" means nonsense, confusion, and incoherence. To summarize the main points, therefore, it is said, "One produced," etc. Because of this, it should be understood that the act of working together itself is said to be the characteristic of one produced, which is only momentary things. Those that exist separately and are not momentary are not.

Those who exist in various places, are those who have existence in various places. Furthermore, why is it not accepted that co-action is only for those things that are not momentary? Therefore, it is stated, "By separately producing existence," etc. If those who separately produce existence, how can it be certain that they are co-acting? Only that which is co-acting is solely co-acting. Thus, for the time being, co-action is shown to be a characteristic of the same meaning. In order to show the characteristic of arising differences from each other, it is stated, "Where there is continuous benefit," etc. Where the things that rely on continuous benefit are causes, there, the characteristic of arising differences by relying on continuity is the co-action of conditions that are established, but not the substance. Here, an example is given: For example, from cooked rice, rice porridge arises, and the conditions of co-action such as fire and water, arise differences in the cooked rice by relying on continuity, but not by relying on substance, like this. For example, it is also like a seed giving rise to a sprout, etc. Connect the words "cooked rice and seed, etc." "Rice porridge and sprout, etc." are said in this way, and it is said in this way for their arising. Here, as a reason, it is stated, "Substance is momentary," etc. A substance that is established and abides in one moment cannot be distinguished, because it does not remain at the time of distinguishing. Here, from the perspective of continuity, benefit is given, why is this? Therefore, it is stated, "Cooked rice, etc.," etc. If cooked rice, etc., and fire, water, and copper pots, etc., do not gradually produce something that pervades their own nature, then even after eight generations, it will not become rice porridge. Furthermore, if earth, water, and wind, etc., do not gradually make the seed special, then even if the seed is sown a hundred times, it will not become a sprout. Similarly, if the senses of someone who enters darkness from light, by means of their own benefits

If it doesn't benefit, even if you close your eyes and abandon it, you will never understand the meaning. The difference between inside and outside are two examples. Regarding this, if someone thinks, just as other moments interact and produce differences, why wouldn't it change for things that arise without stopping? Therefore, it is said, "The unimpeded cause of arising," and so on. Those roots and so on that arise without interruption do not produce differences from each other, because it has already been said above that they are momentary. If you don't admit that differences arise at that time, then how can they be the cause of knowledge? Therefore, it is said, "There, the nature of the causes, such as approaching each other, is what kind of cause," and so on. Those that are the causes of self-nature, relying on approaching each other and so on, because those roots and so on abide in suitable objects and so on and arise, merely establishing their own nature, become the objects of the cause of knowledge, therefore, there, the interaction itself is the only function, not producing differences. Approaching each other is touching each other, which is a synonym for abiding in suitable objects and so on. By saying "etc.," it includes offerings and so on. The basis of approaching each other and so on is called that, and the basis here is the cause. Their arising is the third of the causes, which is a synonym for saying that things arise from those as causes. Those who abide in suitable objects and so on are those who abide in suitable objects and so on. By saying "etc.," it includes uninterrupted objects and so on. The word "abiding" is said here to mean entering. Establishing the nature together is merely one's own nature. Also, how is the interaction of the characteristic of producing differences established? It is said, "Where does the difference arise," and so on. Where, in some cases, the things that interact, the cause of producing differences between each other.
