Then, how is it possible? This question was stated. If something is never produced by a single cause, how can it become a capable entity? To address the doubts of other schools, it was stated, "If rope, etc." etc. There is no certainty that whatever the capacity is, it must invariably produce a result. Just as rope, etc., can be used to make cloth, etc., but it is not always the case. It will be the same here as well, which is the doubt of the former party. The proponent of the established conclusion said, in order to dispel doubts, he stated "having a playful attitude" etc. Is the joy of the gods righteous or foolish? Because they are by nature joyful by constantly creating happiness. Play is the nature of children, and being similar to that, it shows that they lack wisdom. By merely creating again and again, it shows that they are not diligent in the scriptures. Those who are not diligent and are foolish, even if asked to do it, will be asked to do it again and again because they are forgetful. Saying "done" means it has already been answered. Saying "being made to do again and again" means being made to answer again and again. Where has this been answered? Therefore, it was stated, "Like using seeds, etc., as an analogy" etc. This is like suspending it at that time, thinking that it is uncertain like seeds, etc. In order to conclude, it was stated, "Therefore, since the essence does not change" etc. Because it was explained in that way that the nature of capacity cannot but produce, therefore, since the essence does not change, the entity of the dharma that is able to produce results, just like the final state, it is inevitable that it will produce results before as well. If someone thinks that there was no capacity before, and this capacity arises in the final state. Therefore, it was stated, "In the final state" etc. When someone thinks that capacity arises in the final state from a state of no capacity before

So, when it exists, is this capacity transformed into the self-nature of the thing? Or is it transformed into something else? These are two investigations. If it has become the self-nature, then, when it is admitted that the capacity appears in the final state of the thing, it is equivalent to admitting the arising of a thing that did not exist before. However, if it is not the self-nature of the capacity's thing, then, when it is not its self-nature, the thing will not become the agent. Why? Because "capacity" and so on are mentioned. For example, through concomitance and contraposition, it is known that the result arises from other things that have "capacity" and so on, but not from the thing itself. Thus, by eliminating the analysis of whether capacity is different or non-different, in order to show other arguments, "Moreover, temporarily" and so on are mentioned. Temporarily, any thing that has a stable self-nature, when it possesses all the co-operative factors in the final state, why does it produce the result only at that time? Because it possesses all the co-operative factors, it is possessed of all the co-operative factors. The opponent mentions "Because seeing produces" and so on, saying, "Because seeing produces the result, it produces." In order to refute the sophistry of the established tenet proponents, "The seeing with great power" and so on are mentioned. What you see, the seeing with great power, is the capacity with great power. Why is this seeing a capacity with great power? Because this seeing, even if it is separated from the self-nature of the thing that produces the result, can connect various actions with its own self-nature. Although this does not harm me in any way, if for some cause, you, like treating some causes, do not deliberately abandon or neglect, and go beyond the path of seeing, alas, then that cause becomes the nature of not producing the result, because it will become a system that explains the relationship of cause and effect in detail, this thought makes me worried. Because this has great capacity, so this has great power, thus organizing the sentences. Those that are not its self-nature!
