All things are destroyed in an instant. How can there be sameness between those instants, other instants, and instants? To dispel doubts about the words of others, it is said, "If the last ones have the ability," and so on. If it is thought that only the last stage of the causes manifests the ability, why does it not produce the result? Here, the opponent might think, why does each one not produce a single result? Thinking this way, they universally blame and consider it to be permanent. The proponent also pretends not to know the error in it and answers, "It only produces," and so on. Those things that have the ability will inevitably produce the result. There is no change in their final stage. Not producing is explained here as the sound of change. Why does it inevitably produce? Because the nature is irreversible. Like the nature of these things producing results is black, it will never change, and not producing is the reversal here. Furthermore, to dispel doubts about proclaiming one's own thoughts, it is said, "If all things that act together," and so on. Those characteristics of the causes that appear to act together in the final stage are all able to produce results individually. Therefore, what other combination is needed for that? Because only acting together produces one result, not individually, this is the doubt of the former. The proponent says, "For things," and so on. For things, if this alone can produce the result, what do we superfluous ones have to do? After thinking this way, there is no one who would understand it as "others will be reversed," which is preceded by thought. Those who have the habit of preceding with thought are those who precede with thought, and thought is synonymous with speculation and thinking. If preceding with thought

If it is not pure, then how can it always be uniquely together? Therefore, it is said "one who acts without mind," those who have the action of no mind are the ones who act without mind. Pure, that is, the synonym for those who do not use wisdom in advance. If they are not those who use wisdom in advance, then why do they gather together in the same way as those who merely use discrimination in advance? Therefore, it is said "the nature of phenomena that gathers with its own cause being complete," the cause of its own gathering being complete is its own cause being complete. Those who have the dharma of gathering with their own cause being complete are the ones who have the nature of phenomena that gathers with their own cause being complete. Gathering is the assembly in a suitable place, it is a synonym for closeness and suitability. Why do they change in that way? Therefore, it is said, "from its own nature it becomes like that." That kind of nature is its own nature, that kind means producing after gathering in a suitable place. Becoming like that means gathering and producing fruit. Because these are not those who use discrimination in advance, but are merely gathered by the root consciousness of their own complete cause, therefore, those who gather by the power of the nature of producing after gathering in a suitable place, why can't each one produce separately when producing fruit? It is not appropriate to look for such accusations. Also, in order to welcome other doubts that are not like that, it is said "if there are abilities, etc.," if those who gather by the power of the complete cause ultimately do not turn back, then since they are capable, why don't they each produce different fruits, but are completely satisfied with one fruit and abide? This is the doubt of the previous party. The one who establishes the tenet does not say this, he said "it is only that," for that complete liberation, he said "only that should be produced," because in that way one fruit is produced.
