What is the nature of the stages of realization when the object to be measured is established as the subject, and then reasons are sought in order to establish it well? Like this, what is the use of establishing it in an uncertain way at first? Because the time of establishment is only the time of certainty. If one can realize without expressing the object to be measured when one realizes oneself, but in order to make others realize, one should indicate the object to be measured, is that so? Therefore, it is said, "Even if that is said by others," etc. Because it is not necessary to express the object to be measured even for others to realize, it becomes superfluous. In order to welcome the doubts about the context of the statements of those who follow the tradition of the logician Dignāga, it is said, "If the necessity is to show the object," etc. Because by saying the object to be measured, the object of the argument is well shown, so it is said. Therefore, the necessity of saying the object to be measured is to show the object, which is the doubt of the former school. The proponent of the established conclusion said, "For the time being, show that itself," etc. What is the use of showing the object itself for the time being? Because by showing the object well, stating the proposition becomes unreasonable. In response to this, one might think that if the object is not well shown, then what is to be established will not be realized, so it is necessary to show the object well, is that so? Therefore, it is said, "If it cannot be realized otherwise," etc. If it cannot be realized without showing the object well, then at that time everything you say will become good. How that is done has already been shown before. In this way, removing the connection of the proposition from the words of the proof, in order to conclude, therefore it is said, "Therefore, when this realizes itself," etc. Because there is no need to state the proposition in any way, therefore this person who states the proposition, when he realizes himself, states the proposition, this is only realized without stating the proposition. When I am striving to realize the object to be measured, then I see him striving to establish it, and if the proposition is not stated, I will not realize it, the proposition is very

Saying, "Please give a little alms." Speaking in this way, it is like a Brahmin at a festival, clearly showing the appearance of expecting a reward. For example, in a certain place, all the Brahmins are invited to scatter food for the ancestors, etc. A very hungry and devout person could not find another Brahmin, but saw a beggar who was so hungry that his stomach was shrunken, his lips and throat were completely dry, his face was wrinkled, and his cheeks were pale, coming towards him. So he bowed his head and prostrated, joining his palms like a lotus flower, and said, "Please be kind and come to my house to have a meal." The Brahmin knew that this person had not found another Brahmin, and said, "If you give me a silver coin for each serving of ghee, then I will come to your house to eat, otherwise I will not go." It is said that just like that, it should be viewed similarly here. Regarding this, if someone thinks that when one understands for oneself, one understands the object to be measured by the power of reasoning, but to make others understand, one needs to understand through words. Therefore, it is said, "Even if I say," and so on. If the other person can understand, then the words of the proposition should also be stated. No matter how much I say the words of commitment, the other person will not rely on it, but will recall the already established nature of the reason, and thus understand. Therefore, what is the difference between the two situations of stating the words of commitment and not stating them? Regarding this, if someone thinks that for the sake of others, inference without stating the commitment

In order to show that this is the seed of inferring one's own meaning. It is said that just as it is certain for oneself, it is also certain for others, and so on. Just as when inferring one's own meaning, a certain understanding arises for oneself, how can it be certain for others as well? Thinking this, one states the reason, and this is understanding. Furthermore, if one does not show the measurable object, one can still understand the measurable object. When one makes others understand, one states the words of the measurable object, which relies on the order of things in sequence. Therefore, it is necessary to state the reason that transcends reason and relies on the order of things in sequence. Thus, by reasoning, the statement of the proposition is prohibited. In order to conclude, it is said, "Therefore, there is no need to state the measurable object at all," because in this way, the seed of inference for others is the inference for oneself, and there is no statement of the proposition for inferring oneself. Therefore, there is no need to state the proposition for inferring others at all. Why is it not needed? It is also said, "Understanding can also be achieved elsewhere," and so on, meaning that even without stating the proposition, understanding can be achieved. Thus, by removing the proposition from the words that can establish, in order to remove the unwanted limbs, for comparison, it is said, "With this, one can also approach and conclude, etc." Only the clear statement of the proposition can clearly understand the approach and conclusion. The word "etc." includes doubt and hesitation, etc. Why? It is said, "Only this statement," etc. In this way, only by stating the relationship with the property of the subject, the object to be established can be understood. Someone might think, as long as the reason with visible power does not approach the subject, all actions of cessation are hidden, and the subject to be established is not concluded, how can the object to be established be understood? Therefore, it is said, "Attachment to speech."
