At that time, the negation of non-apprehension is definite. For a while, like that, the dharma of the teachings and the subsequent going and the certainty of negation, etc., are shown. In order to show only the three reasons, "having such characteristics," etc., are mentioned. "The pervasion of that property of the subject," etc., is said, and whatever explanation of reason that possesses this characteristic of reason should be regarded as only three types. Whatever has such characteristics is said to have such characteristics. In order to specifically show the three types, "nature," etc., are mentioned, and the three reasons are shown by their respective names. "And" means to gather. "Is" means to state completely. In order to show an example of the reason of nature, "For example, in the case where something is to be proven as impermanent, like that," etc., is mentioned, and the reason of characteristic that exists in something to be proven as impermanent itself is the reason of nature. In order to show an example of the reason of effect, "Like smoke in a place with fire," etc., is mentioned, and the reason of characteristic of smoke in a place to be proven as having fire is the reason of effect. In order to show an example of non-apprehension, "In the absence of," etc., is mentioned, and the non-apprehension that has become the object of apprehension in something to be proven as non-existent is the third reason. Again, why are there only three types of reasons? "Only these three types," etc., are mentioned, and because whatever three reasons are closely shown, those alone are certain not to arise without being complete, therefore the reason is in the three types. Again, what is it that does not arise without being complete? How is that determined? Therefore, "The pervasion of the property of the subject as stated," etc., is mentioned, and there, only the pervader exists, or only the pervaded exists, whatever pervasion is closely shown, the pervasion of the property of the subject as stated, that is what is called not arising without being complete. That which does not arise without being complete, also because it does not exist elsewhere other than the three types of reasons, so

This is called certainty. In order to show the characteristics of the reason of nature. Among them, it is said, "The one who possesses only the nature of the proving dharma is," etc. For any dharma to be established, undoubtedly, the dharma to be established that possesses only the proving dharma, for such a dharma, it should be said that it is the reason of nature. Only the proving dharma is only the dharma to be established, because this dharma has a corresponding state with it, thus connecting the sentences. Self-nature is self and one's own nature, which are synonyms. Self-nature itself is the reason, thus connecting the sentences. Whose self-nature is it? It should be understood that it is the self-nature of the dharma to be established due to hearing and closeness. Are the dharma to be established and the proving dharma not only different through the difference of exclusion? If so, how can it be said that the reason is the self-nature of the dharma to be established? Therefore, it is said, "In reality, the reason is only the self-nature of the subject," etc. Although the dharma to be established and the proving dharma are different through the difference of mutual refutation, in the ultimate truth, the reason is only the self-nature of the subject. Like this, relying on causes and conditions to arise, because it is made, whatever is made is considered impermanent because of destruction. If it is not like this, then what is made is also other, and impermanence is also other. If it is like this, then "sound is made, is impermanent" cannot be reduced to one. When the reason is called the self-nature of the dharma to be established, will the dharma to be established undoubtedly have a sequential relationship with the reason? Then, why make such a distinction as "only having a sequential relationship with it"? It is said, "For self-nature, following is without confusion," etc. If it is admitted that the reason is the self-nature of the dharma to be established, then following the dharma to be established is without confusion. However, when stating the characteristics, considering other schools, it is necessary to make such a distinction as "related to only the proving dharma." In order to explain that other school.
