Furthermore. Others mention "having a reason of other meaning" and so forth. Because other opponents, regarding things that have been established, the dharma that arises from the reason of other meaning is not merely related to it, but is also considered to be its own nature. Such a special dharma is also prevented from being its own nature. And the fallacy in the proposition that arises later is also shown by the distinction. Other things that arise from the self-causes of things are other meanings, and for this, the words "having a reason of other meaning" are established. This has the state of merely its essence, therefore it has merely its essence. To refute it is to not have merely its essence. If you ask from where does the proposition of the one who has the reason of other meaning, the fallacy arises? For example, saying "fear has a cause" and so on. The nature of being made has a fallacy in the proposition that fear has a cause. Thus, if you think that fear has a cause, then sometimes there will be cases where there is no fear. Thus, things that have dependence do not necessarily arise, therefore some are made, but not impermanent, therefore it is a fallacy. Thus, in order to explain the definition of the reason of self-nature, the difference of combination is shown. In order to show that its combination is two types, it is said that "its combination is two types." The reason of self-nature is combined into two types there. In order to show the two types, it is said "having the same dharma nature" and so on. Sometimes it is combined from the door of having the same dharma nature, and sometimes it is from the door of having different dharma nature, this is the general saying. This has the same dharma, therefore it has the same dharma. The nature of having the same dharma is having the same dharma nature. This has different dharma, therefore it has different dharma. The nature of having different dharma is having different dharma nature. In order to show the combination of having the same dharma nature, it is said "whatever exists" and so on. Whatever exists slightly is momentary, for example, a vase and so on, this shows the following.

It shows the aspect of going. In order to show the combination of dissimilar dharmas. Similarly, it is said, "If it is not momentary," and so on. Whatever is not momentary is also non-existent, like space. This shows the opposite. "Sound is existent" shows the dharma of the subject that is separated from dissimilar dharmas. In order to show the way to fully show the pervasion by the combination of similar and dissimilar dharmas. It says, "Summarizing everything," and so on. By following or contradicting, all things are summarized, and the pervasion is fully shown by the combination of similar and dissimilar dharmas. It is not like other schools that completely abandon the dharma to be established and fully show other pervasions. Because everything is said, other pervasions are refuted. Fully showing pervasion is fully showing pervasion. Those who have that characteristic are those who have the characteristic of fully showing pervasion. When everything is summarized and the pervasion is fully shown, isn't it just knowing the subject that is distinguished by the dharma? Therefore, if inference becomes memory, then for the saying "Whatever is made is impermanent," when universally knowing the pervasion, it is not possible to know "sound is impermanent." Therefore, how can the inference of knowing the nature of the subject become memory? Because one is accustomed to showing the combination, when one knows the dharma in any way, one will also know oneself in the way of combination. Therefore, for the inference of one's own meaning, one must also make a distinction of combination, and for the three reasons, there must also be this distinction of combination. For the reason of nature, it is established with great effort in the occasion of determining the nature of what is pervaded and what pervades.

The vow should not be excessively proclaimed, as the meaning of the vow will be understood solely by the force of its extreme proclamation. To dispel doubts about the opportunity for others' words, it is said, "If the object to be measured is mentioned," etc. If the object to be measured is excessively proclaimed, how can it be understood without words? This is the doubt of the former. The proponent of the established conclusion says, "Regarding one's own understanding," etc. If the object to be measured is not excessively proclaimed, the object to be measured will not be understood. In that case, even when inferring according to one's own meaning, it will not be understood, because in that case, no one will proclaim the object to be measured. Then, how will it be understood in that case? Therefore, it is said, "By focusing on the smoke that is on one side," etc. Whenever smoke is focused on one side, if it is remembered that fire is also universally present in it, then only by the power of both will it be understood that "there is fire on this side," but no one will proclaim, "There is fire here." Regarding this, if one thinks that one will understand the object to be measured by oneself before the inference, therefore it is said, "One has never understood even a little before," and even before the inference, one has never understood even a little like that. Why? It is said, "Apart from valid cognition, like that," etc. Apart from valid cognition, there is no other reason to understand, "There is fire here." Therefore, how can it be understood only before? Regarding this, if one thinks, "This is only how it will be understood before," therefore, it is said, "If it is understood," etc. If this has some power by which the object to be measured can be understood only before, without relying on valid cognition, then the sign becomes meaningless. In that case, what is the use of the sign? Regarding this, if one thinks, "For the time being, first the object to be measured should be determined, and then valid cognition should be explained in order to fully prove it," therefore it is said, "One carelessly says, 'There is fire here,'" etc. Whatever is carelessly
