So, it is said that repeating what "that" said is to prove that one possesses desire and so on. Therefore, if it is certain that speech itself possesses desire and so on, then it is showing pervasion. The word "desirous" in "like a desirous person" should also include the opponent. Therefore, if it is merely established that a desirous person has both speech and the possession of desire and so on, then pervasion is not established. Therefore, this is an example without concomitance. "Sound is impermanent" means that impermanence itself is to be proven. "Because it is produced" is the reason. "Like a pot" means that concomitance is not shown in this example. Here, the pot and sound are similar in being produced, but the similarity cannot be understood from the aspect of impermanence, because that would be too extreme. If it is known that being produced is the nature of impermanence, then because it is produced, it will be understood as impermanent. Therefore, in order to establish certainty by stating "whatever is produced is impermanent" and so on, an example is taken to understand the meaning of the words of concomitance. And that meaning is the showing of concomitance itself. This is merely taking an example where the words of concomitance are not spoken. Something like this is merely connected to being in accordance with the Dharma, but merely being in accordance with the Dharma does not establish what is to be proven. Therefore, an example is that which possesses the meaning of concomitance, but that meaning is not taken here, and taking the meaning of being in accordance with the Dharma is not necessary. Therefore, this is a fault of the example because of the fault of the speaker. The speaker here is to make others understand. Therefore, even if the object itself has no fault, it is still a fault because the speaker has expressed it incorrectly. Similarly, whatever example has reversed concomitance is called that. "Whatever is impermanent is produced" is an example of giving that example, and an example of being produced itself must be shown as permanent. If that is the case, then it will be understood that because it is produced, it is impermanent, but here it is not impermanent.

Because it has been shown that things arising from fabrication necessarily exist, only impermanence is certain among fabricated things. Therefore, like this showing that fabricated things do not necessarily exist in impermanence, one cannot understand impermanence. Therefore, after expressing impermanence with the word "impermanence," now the fabrication itself will be established with the word "maker." Therefore, it has been shown that impermanence necessarily exists in fabrication, but it has not been shown that fabrication itself exists in impermanence. For example, impermanence itself does not necessarily exist in newly produced things, so one cannot understand newly produced things, similarly, one cannot understand impermanence from fabrication itself, because of impermanence, it will become fabrication itself. Although fabrication itself necessarily exists in the impermanence of the existence of things, however, because the speaker shows that it does not necessarily exist, therefore, although there is no fault in itself, it is faulty because of the speaker's fault. Therefore, even if it is a reversed concomitance, it is due to the fault of the arguer, not the fault of the thing, because in inference for the benefit of others, the fault of the arguer is also considered. After showing the nine faults of the similar example, in order to show the nine faults of the dissimilar example, it is said: Sound is to be established as permanent, and non-sentient is to be the reason, the dissimilar example of atoms is the absence of pervasion of what is to be established, because atoms are permanent. Action is the absence of pervasion of the means of proof, because actions are not sentient. Space is the absence of pervasion of both, because it is permanent and because it is not sentient. Whatever is to be established, etc., those are what is to be established, etc., namely, what is to be established and the means of proof. Those are without pervasion, those that exist in what, those are the ones with the absence of pervasion of what is to be established, etc. That example has been shown. In order to show other examples, therefore, the word "similarly" is spoken, the pervasion of what is to be established is the pervasion of what is to be established, in what
