Doubting the opposite of what is to be established is doubting the opposite of what is to be established. Whatever belongs to that category is called that. In order to give an example of doubting the opposite of what is to be established, the word "for example" is mentioned. Saying "not omniscient" is the first point of what is to be established. Saying "not trustworthy," saying "faults are not exhausted," is the second point of what is to be established. "Samkhya and others" are the subject. "Omniscient and free from desire," etc., are the reasons, the perfect measure that becomes the sign of both omniscient and trustworthy is the nature of the sign, the difference of measure. Whatever shows that the perfect measure that becomes the sign of omniscient and trustworthy exists in anything is called that. The object of such a display is that itself, therefore. Perfect measure is here considered to be the key to linguistic knowledge. If Samkhya and others are omniscient or trustworthy, then why not show astrology and other knowledge? Because it is not shown, it is not omniscient or untrustworthy. Here, the example that does not conform to the Dharma is: if black things are omniscient or trustworthy, then astrology and other knowledge are all shown to be signs of omniscient or trustworthy. For example, the bull king and the dragon mark, and those who speak those words, the bull king and the dragon mark, etc., the teachers of the naked ascetics are omniscient and trustworthy. Here, the example that does not conform to the Dharma, the bull king and the dragon mark, etc., are not omniscient and untrustworthy themselves, but are doubtful of the opposite. Like this, astrology is also shown, but it will become not omniscient or untrustworthy, what contradiction is there in this? This knowledge is a mistaken omen, because it cannot be used to infer the omniscient. Wherever there is doubt about the opposite of what is to be established, it is called that. "For example" is its example. The knowledge of the Vedas, the knowledge of pleasant sounds, and the knowledge of cracks, and the sacrificers.
