In order to thoroughly prove that the son himself has no causal entity, an example that does not conform to the doctrine is shown. Therefore, without a doubt, if it is not an entity, and there is no essence of cause, then the essence of no result is either an entity or a non-entity. Thus, an entity or non-entity is considered an example that does not conform to the doctrine. Therefore, without an example, it is impossible to show the concomitance or contradiction of reasoning. Therefore, it is only by explaining the method of reasoning that one can show the valid means of proving the pervasiveness of reasoning, which is an example that conforms to the doctrine. And, in order to show that the reasoning of thoroughly proving pervasiveness also does not exist, and what does not exist, an example that does not conform to the doctrine should be adopted, which is what is shown. Showing this meaning is merely showing an example. If it is impossible to show the validity of the established valid means of pervasiveness, and it is also impossible to show the contradiction, then what is the meaning of adopting fire? When showing that meaning, it is also showing an example. Why is this? It is explained that whatever is limited to that method, its entity is that, therefore. The method of example is limited to that. For example, what is called showing through the valid means of proving pervasiveness is an example that conforms to the doctrine. And, for thoroughly established pervasiveness, if what is to be proven is the opposite, then it is thoroughly showing the opposite. That is also explained only by explaining the essence of reasoning, so what is the use of its characteristics? By explaining the method of reasoning, showing the truth of the example, this can also show the fault of the example, which looks like an example. For example, although an example was adopted in order to establish what was said earlier, if it cannot establish its own result, that is the fault of the example, which is implied. The word "for example" is used to give an example that looks like an example. "Sound is permanent," which indicates that sound itself is to be proven. "Because it is not embodied," this is the reasoning. "Like karma, subtle particles, and a pot," those are showing examples that conform to the doctrine. Those are also what is to be proven, as well as the dharma that can prove, and examples that do not possess both, are faults. What is to be proven is no

Now, it is action, because it is impermanent. That which cannot be proven is the atom, because all atoms have bodies. That which does not pervade all substances and has measure is embodied, and that which does not pervade all and the atoms of matter are considered permanent by the Vaisheshikas. Therefore, it is not without something to be proven. The pot is not without both, because the pot is impermanent and has a body. Similarly, whatever doubts the dharma to be proven, that doubts the dharma to be proven. Whatever belongs to those, they are called such, that is, doubting the dharma to be proven, and doubting the dharma that establishes, both are doubted. For example, this indicates an example, having desire and so on, this indicates what is to be proven. Because it speaks, this indicates the reason. Like a person on a great road, this example doubts the very possession of desire and so on. This has the dharma of death, therefore having the dharma of death is what is to be proven. This person, this indicates the subject. Because of having desire and so on, this indicates the reason, like a person on a great road, this indicates doubting the existence in the example, and what is to be proven is definitely having the dharma of death. Not omniscient, this indicates that not being omniscient itself is what is to be proven. Because of having desire and so on, this indicates the reason, both of which, from the example of a person on a great road, there are both omniscient ones and those without desire and so on, therefore there is doubt. Similarly, not following, this indicates that in the example, both what is to be proven and what establishes merely appear to exist, but the reason that is not pervaded by what establishes, that is called not following. Not well showing the following, this indicates that in the example, although there is following, the speaker does not show it, that is called not showing the following. For example, this indicates giving an example of not following. What was said
