It is established there. The other establishes non-existence because it is not visible. It is not reasonable for existence and non-existence to coexist in one at the same time, because the two are contradictory. Because it is established by scripture, pervasiveness and non-pervasiveness, and the two subsequent accomplishments, become infallible contradictions. Thus, what is one, dwells in all places, and is simultaneously manifestly related, is also admitted to be manifest. Therefore, because it is related, it is pervasiveness, and because it is manifest, it is not visible in between, so it is non-pervasiveness. Therefore, the author, not seeing what is pervaded by contradiction, speaks of the dharma pervaded by contradiction, which opens the opportunity for infallible contradiction. This is impossible for things, and thus the pseudo-reason is not shown. Since it is a part of the establishment, how is the reason shown, and in its wake, is the pseudo-reason also shown? Likewise, since it is a part of the establishment, shouldn't the example and its wake also show the pseudo-example? Why is it not shown? It is said: Since the three characteristics of the reason have been stated, what is the use of that example? If it is said that this alone is not enough to understand the meaning? Then it is said only this, because the reason for showing the self-characteristic is only to understand what is to be established, and only this can make it understood. Therefore, only its words are the establisher, and the example called the part of the establisher is nothing else. Because this is not a part, therefore it is not said outside the self-characteristic of the example. If there is no example of reason, how can the pervasiveness of reason be determined? It is not said that there is no example of reason. However, there is no example outside of reason, because the example is gathered in the reason. Therefore, it is said that it is not said outside of its self-characteristic, and it is not said that the self-characteristic of the example is not said. If so, then the self-characteristic needed for the word must also be said? For the sake of understanding the meaning.
