That which is gathered and eaten is to be examined. If there is knowledge that appears to accomplish things, then the person has already achieved the goal, so there is no doubt for those who seek that goal. Therefore, that is not to be examined. Therefore, in order to show the correct knowledge that is suitable for examination and is not the cause of things, the word "cause" is mentioned as existing before from elsewhere. The purpose of a person is the purpose to be sought, that is, the meaning of what is to be desired. It is either to be abandoned or to be acquired. The meaning of what is to be abandoned is what is desired to be abandoned, and what is to be acquired is what is desired to be acquired. There are no other aggregates other than what is to be abandoned and what is to be acquired, because what is to be abandoned is what is not to be acquired, so it is the very thing to be abandoned. That which is accomplished is abandoning and acquiring, and being accomplished by relying on the cause is said of birth. Being accomplished by relying on knowledge is following after, and for what is to be abandoned, it is following after abandoning. For what is to be acquired, it is following after acquiring. Therefore, for these two, what is to be abandoned and what is to be acquired, following after the nature of abandoning and acquiring is called accomplishment. This is both everything and the accomplishment of a person's purpose. The word "everything" here refers to matter without omission, not to form without omission. Therefore, the cause of correct knowledge accomplishes both forms, this meaning is not like that, and the purpose of a person is not like that. However, however much is accomplished, the cause of accomplishing all those without omission is correct knowledge. From wrong knowledge, there is no accomplishment of purpose even as much as a crow and a palm tree. Like this, if one can meet with the meaning that is indicated, then one can accomplish the purpose from it, and what can meet with the indication is only correct knowledge. Although it is indicated but not met, that is wrong knowledge, and even if it cannot be obtained, how can it become the cause of accomplishing the purpose? Therefore, from whatever wrong knowledge there is, purpose cannot be accomplished, and from whatever purpose can be accomplished, it is only correct knowledge. Therefore, correct knowledge itself should be diligently shown. Because that itself is the person's...

Therefore, since it is the cause of accomplishing meaning, just as it is said that a person's accomplishment of meaning is solely due to the cause of correct knowledge. All of this indicates that correct knowledge is the prerequisite for a person's accomplishment of all meanings. Therefore, the word "because" here means "therefore," and it is always related to "what" and "that." Therefore, this is the meaning: because correct knowledge is the prerequisite for accomplishing all meanings for a person, it is pointed out. Even if correct knowledge is not primary in the combination of words, it is primary because the explanation is to be discussed here. Therefore, the word "that" should be combined with itself. Since what is to be pointed out is to point out separately by eliminating wrong understandings, this is what "pointed out" means. Here, there are four kinds of wrong understandings: number, definition, field of action, and the field of result. In order to eliminate the wrong understanding of number, the statement "there are two kinds" is mentioned. Because there are two kinds here, that is, two distinctions, so there are two kinds. The clarity of correct knowledge is two, and by pointing out the number, the distinction of clarity is also pointed out. Pointing out the distinction of clarity, one can point out the definition of specific correct knowledge that is certain for each clarity. If the distinction of clarity is not pointed out, then one cannot say that the single, unfailing correct knowledge that pervades all clarity exists in each basis. Therefore, pointing out the distinction of number is merely a component of pointing out the definition, because without pointing out the distinction of number, one cannot point out the nature of clarity, nor can one point out the distinction of definition. Therefore, since it is a component of pointing out the definition, the distinction of number is pointed out first. What are those two forms? "Perception" and so on are mentioned. The meaning that relies on the senses is perception. Relying on the senses is also the reason for explaining the word, but not the reason for using it. Merely relying on the senses symbolizes the manifestation of the meaning that unites the meaning into one.
