Is it impossible to practice like the secret instruction of the great ornament? Or is it not something that needs to be done like the secret instruction of the stages of taking a bride? Or is there an easier way to achieve the necessary than this treatise? Or it may even be the case that the treatise is not a method at all. If someone thinks these are meaningless, then even if there is only one thought that thinks it is meaningless, those with intelligence will not enter. If one speaks of things like what needs to be stated, then a thought that is inconsistent with the thought that it is meaningless will arise. In this way, those with intelligence will also enter. Therefore, because those with intelligence will enter, in order to make those with intelligence think that entering is worthwhile, it is necessary to explain the connection and so on. Knowledge that does not deceive is correct knowledge. In the world, causing one to meet with the meaning that was previously indicated is also called not deceiving. Similarly, if knowledge causes one to meet with the indicated meaning, it is also called not deceiving. Causing to meet itself is only causing to enter the indicated meaning, and not anything else. For example, knowledge does not cause one to meet with the meaning by producing it, but rather it causes a person to enter the meaning, so it is meeting with the meaning. Causing to enter is also only by showing the object of entry, and one cannot forcibly make people enter with knowledge. Therefore, merely understanding the meaning is the result of valid cognition, and causing a person to enter the understood meaning is also meeting with the meaning. In this way, the function of valid cognition is completed in order to understand the meaning. Therefore, knowledge that has a definite object is valid cognition, because whatever knowledge initially understands the meaning, it itself causes one to enter, and it is also meeting with the meaning, and for that meaning, there is nothing more that other knowledge can do. Therefore, knowledge that does not have a definite object is not valid cognition. Among these, whatever meaning is directly known, that is what is made the object of entry by direct perception itself. Because for whatever meaning,
