Only the fact that it definitely does not arise if it does not occur is the function of understanding as a reason, and not any other function. Initially, establishing what is to be established by a valid cognition that harms, is to determine the connection between the reason and what is to be established. Later, when inferring, it also establishes that "what is made" is "the nature of impermanence," and it is to be generally remembered that it does not arise if there is no object to be established. Applying the meaning of general remembrance again to the particular is that "this made thing that exists on sound is also the nature of impermanence." Among them, general remembrance is the knowledge of the sign; and the particular, that is, the remembrance that the made thing itself that exists on sound is the nature of impermanence, is the knowledge of subsequent inference. Therefore, what is called understanding the hidden meaning is precisely knowing that it does not arise if it does not occur. Therefore, the reason of nature should be applied to the dharma to be established that is definitely related to just that much. This shows that it is not for others. If the establisher must definitely determine the connection together with the establisher in this way, then why should it be clarified that what is to be established is definitely related only to the dharma of the establisher? Because the word "that" has been spoken, the establishment is only related to the dharma of the establisher, because that is its nature, that is to say, because it is the nature of the dharma of the establisher. Whatever dharma to be established is related only to the dharma of the establisher is the essence of that dharma of the establisher, and not another. Only this kind of thing is nature, but why should a reason be applied to the very nature of what is to be established? Because nature is also a reason, here is only the case of the reason of nature. Therefore, whatever becomes the nature of the establisher is what is to be established, and nature is also only related to the dharma of the establisher, and not another. If the other is the dharma to be established, is the nature of the establisher, then one part of the meaning of the proposition is the reason.

If you ask why it changes? In reality, the word "is" is mentioned, and ultimately, the things to be proven and the things that can prove are its own nature, and by establishing names, the things to be proven and the things that can prove are different. The entity of the thing to be proven and the thing that can prove is the nature of abiding in certainty, and the nature of abiding in certainty is different due to the difference of the established names made by mutual exclusion, so the thing that can prove is also other, and the thing that can prove and the thing to be proven are also other. For example, from a distance, it is certain to say "tree" for the meaning of having branches, etc., but it is uncertain to say "tree trunk of a tree", if so, then it itself is a tree, and the trunk is also itself. Therefore, there is no difference in the entity, but the difference of exclusion by determination universally shows difference. Therefore, relative to the nature of abiding in certainty, the thing that can prove is also other, and the thing to be proven is also other. Therefore, one part of the meaning of what is established is not the cause, but in reality it is also its own nature. Why is it that only being related to the dharma that can prove is the nature of what can prove, and not others? It is said "because it is established", whatever is related to what, that is not not established when it is established, because of black, it is not not established when it is established, that is not reasonable to become the nature of what can prove. For example, establishment and non-establishment themselves are the two of things and non-things, and things and non-things also exist by abandoning each other, if the previous establishment and non-establishment become one, then in one meaning, it will become the two of things and non-things at the same time, and the contradictory things and non-things should not be one either, the reason for not being one is that it has the nature of contradictory dharmas. In addition, what is produced later is a different cause from what was produced earlier, and different results are also preceded by different causes. Therefore, the two of establishment and non-establishment are the difference of the nature of the aggregate of incompatible dharmas, and also a different cause, and the cause that can be made is also different, how can it be one? Therefore, only being related to what can prove
