If it is not so, then even from non-omniscient beings, words are not reversed. In order to show the doubt arising from following. Because the omniscient and the desireless are kalpas, therefore there is doubt whether they have words, etc., it is said. Because the omniscient himself and the desireless himself are not the objects of the senses, therefore there is doubt whether they have words. Just like this, is the person shown in the example an omniscient being? Will he speak? Or is he not omniscient and speaks? There is no certainty about this. If there is doubt about these two ways, it is uncertain, that is, when doubt arises about both following or contradiction. This is again a pseudo-reason of uncertain cause. In order to show the example, for example, because of having life and so on. The living body is with self, it is said like this. Life and so on are life and so on, and the sound of etc. includes opening, smiling, stretching, contracting, and so on. The so-called having self is that I exist as the basis of enjoyment. The so-called living body excludes the dead body. In order to show that there is doubt about each one, from among having self and not having self, in which aggregate will life and so on exist? There is no other aggregate, it is said. There are two aggregates, having self and not having self, and there are no others except these. If having life and so on is the dharma of things, then it is separated from both having self and not having self, where will it exist? Why does the third aggregate not exist? Because I and existence and severance protect everything, it is said. Existence and severance are existence and severance, existence is being, and severance is non-being. My existence and severance are my own existence and severance. These two include all things, like this

Whatever abides in selflessness is with self. Everything else apart from that is selfless. Therefore, how could there be a third aggregate? Thus, for the time being, those associated with life and so forth, and those that are selfless, are not established as distinct. If distinctness from these two is not established, then there will be concomitance with it, if it is said. Therefore, it is said that it is not certain that it abides in one of these two. It cannot be determined whether having life and so forth is with self or without self. Why is that? Because when establishing with self or without self, life and so forth are not established. It is said that having life and so forth is not seen in things that are determined to be with self, or in things that are determined to be without self. Therefore, how can there be a determined abiding? Therefore, the so-called life and so forth that are related to a living body, when summarizing, show the dharma of a part, that is, the term "related to a living body" is explained. Whatever it exists in, that itself is related to a living body, which is the term for the dharma of a part. Because it is not established as distinct from all with self and without self, it is not separated from these two, which concludes by showing no distinctness. Because it is not established on the single self alone, therefore there is no concomitance with it, which concludes by showing no concomitance. Thus, for the time being, both concomitance and distinctness are not established as distinct. So, is it also certain that these two are not present in it? Therefore, it is said that from with self and without self, it is not certain that there is no concomitance and distinctness of it. Just as it is not certain that there is concomitance and distinctness for with self, it is also not certain that there is not, and the same should be said for without self. Even if it is not certain that there is, it is ultimately not, why would it not become certain that there is not? Therefore, it is said that both concomitance and distinctness are of a nature that mutually distinguishes.
