That is how it functions. Existing on the conforming side and not existing on the non-conforming side is called the synonym of following and contradicting. This is a temporary general explanation of the characteristics of contradiction. In order to explain the difference, it is said, "The nature of having been made and the nature of just arising are contradictory pseudo-reasons for establishing permanence." Whenever permanence is established by the nature of having been made or by the nature of just arising, it is a contradictory pseudo-reason. If someone asks, "How is it established in reverse here?" The answer is: Because these two do not exist on the conforming side and exist on the non-conforming side, they are established in reverse. When establishing permanence, space and so on are the conforming side. On space and so on, the nature of having been made and the nature of just arising are both impossible to exist. Impermanent vases and so on are the non-conforming side. On that, those two exist. In this way, those two are established in reverse. Those two are contradictory because they establish the reverse of what is to be established. That is, because those two ways are established in reverse, establishing the reverse of what is to be established is also a contradictory pseudo-reason because it establishes the reverse of what is to be established. Isn't there also a third kind of contradiction that harms what is asserted? The so-called harming what is asserted is because it harms what is asserted, so it is harming what is asserted. The author of the treatise has already explained it in the third contradiction. In order to explain the example, for example, because they are combinations, eyes and so on function for the sake of others, like the parts of bedding and cushions. The meaning of that has already been explained separately. If someone asks, "What kind of contradiction is this?" The answer is: That is because it is believed that non-combinations function for the sake of others. It is said, "Because it is established in reverse, it is contradictory." The so-called functioning for the benefit of other beings is functioning for the benefit of other beings. Its object is functioning for the benefit of other beings. For non-combinations functioning for the benefit of other beings, it is non-combinations functioning for the benefit of other beings. That is also his intention, and it is a combination.

The sentence "It is also doing other things that are not combined" should be combined syntactically. The opposite of this is that it is not combined, doing other things, contrary to his will. To prove this, it is said so. Therefore, his non-combined state does other things, because the will is proven to be reversed, it should be considered a contradiction. If asked why it was not said, it is because the author also admitted it, and also thought that it fits the definition of contradiction. Because it is contained within this same one, it is not stated separately because it is contained within the explanation of these two contradictions. In order to show that it is contained within it, it is said that it is proven by reversing what is to be proven, which is no different from these two. The reasons with the characteristics of having been done and arising immediately are explained as contradictions because what is to be proven is reversed in proving permanence. This is also the same, because what is to be proven is reversed, so it is similar to those two. In the former, what is to be proven expressed in words is reversed, but here, isn't the meaning of the will reversed? Therefore, how can it be similar to those two? Therefore, it is said that "there is no difference between will and speech in what is to be proven." What is will and what is speech, there is no difference between these two in what is to be proven, which has been explained before. If one of the two ways is not established and the other is doubtful, then it is uncertain. To show an example, for example, because of speaking, it is free from desire, or because it is omniscient. Its meaning has been explained. For this, the reversal is not established, and the following is doubtful, that is, for this combination, the reversal does not exist, and the following is doubtful. Like this, when proving omniscience, the inconsistent side is not omniscient.
