Because it is the nature of the meaning to be proven, it is related to it. It is said that "because it arises from the meaning to be proven" is because some signs arise from the meaning to be proven. It is not related to it. Why? If only the nature of the meaning to be proven, and arising from the meaning for the sake of proving, are said to be the relation of the sign? Therefore, it is said that "not its nature, nor arising from it, is because that is the nature of being unrelated to it." Whatever does not have the same nature as what is to be proven, and whatever does not arise from the meaning to be proven, in what way is it related to it? Being unrelated is not a sign, because that would be too extreme. Therefore, it should only be said that its nature and arising from it are the relation, otherwise it is not. Even if that is the case, what will happen from that? It is said that "its nature and arising from it are only nature and result," its nature is the relation of the nature cause. Arising from it is the relation of the result cause. Therefore, it is said that "only with those two can things be established." Because its nature and arising from it are only nature and result. Only with those two can things be established, others that are unrelated cannot, therefore it abides in establishing things is only two. What is it that says "one is the reason for refutation"? Therefore, it is said that "the establishment of refutation also only changes from the non-perception as previously stated." Whatever explanation of non-perception comes from the realm of the visible, that alone is the reason for refutation. Why? Therefore, it is said that "if things exist, then it is impossible." Like this, the transformation of things existing is impossible. The non-perception as previously stated itself is what establishes the name of things not existing.

So, where does this come from? Otherwise, for those things that are obscured by place, time, and nature, even if one's own direct perception is reversed, it is said that there is no thing because it is certain. If it is not as universally stated, then, not becoming an object of focus, but things obscured by place, time, and nature, for those things, the proponent's direct perception being reversed cannot ascertain that there is no thing. This word "ni" should be understood to mean "because of what." Place, time, and nature are just place, time, and nature, and for those obscurations, it is said that way. Among them, being separated by countless places is the obscuration of place. Being separated by not a few eons is the obscuration of time. Objects such as sense consciousness should be understood as the obscuration of nature. Therefore, this "not becoming an object of focus" indicates that the conditions for focus are not complete. This "obscured by place, time, and nature" indicates that there is no real thing with a special nature, and in this way, it is established that the non-apprehension as previously stated is refutation and establishment. Thus, temporarily not acknowledging the difference of time, it is said that the non-apprehension as previously stated is just refutation and establishment. Now, in order to fully explain the difference of time, thereby showing that it itself is establishment, therefore it is said "non-deluded memory function," which is the function of generating memory, a synonym for the seed of memory. The non-deluded memory function exists on things such as a pot, and it is said that way. The proponent's direct perception of past and present being reversed means that the past and present time, the nature that is compatible with any aspect of the object such as the aspect of emptiness, any pot etc., because it is a nature that is compatible with the past and present aspects, it is shown as past and present. Otherwise,
