Thus it was said. Furthermore, the term "again" refers to contemplating what one will see after a certain amount of time has passed since constantly seeing form, and so on. Discrimination also refers to the time when one asks, "What did I discriminate?" At the time when the stream of discrimination ceases, it is understanding that "I was previously in such a state of discrimination," meaning, "I saw this form and contemplated it in this way." The previously explained nature is that which is understood from the perspective of the senses of one who wishes to gather all discriminations. However, this is not the case for consciousness that relies on the senses, as it can see its own continuum but cannot understand any discrimination. This is what is being said: when one who understands constantly seen forms understands them in the interim, there is no attachment to discrimination. Later, having examined the seen forms in various ways, when discrimination ceases, if one examines the previous state, one is certain of discrimination, saying, "I examined it in this way." Therefore, if discrimination is neither present nor absent in those two states, then why, when seeing forms in the same way, does one cling to seeing without thought for a short time, and then cling to having discrimination for a short time? The explanation given to resolve these very points is called seeing forms. To summarize, according to those who say that direct perception is characterized by discrimination, discrimination becomes less prominent, but according to our view, it is completely reversed. Having arisen from such a summary, in whom does wrong thought exist? "A little" means becoming attached to seeing or causing others to understand. "Again" means later, that is, the meaning of the time when the stream of discrimination ceases. The previous stream of discrimination ceases because a dissimilar discrimination arises, and the very dissimilarity is because one later discriminates after previously discriminating objects. The stream of one's own mind is the continuum. It gathers discriminations of various natures, unifies them, and holds them.

It is so. It means to make it round. Such as this, etc., shows the aspect of summarizing. What is called 'such as this' is like this aspect. From the different objects of discrimination, there are different discriminations of that aspect. And this and such as this, etc., also show the different appearances of summarizing discriminations. In the ultimate state of summarizing, although the continuum of one's own mind is summarized, there is no attachment to discrimination, as has been said before. Therefore, if these are direct perceptions, why would they not become realization in the reversed view of discrimination? How does the summarizing consciousness not hold it? This is the summarized result of measurement. Whatever continuum has become direct perception, the summarizing consciousness can hold it when the continuum is cut off. For example, it is like the continuum of the visible form. Likewise, discrimination has also become direct perception. At the end of the continuum, the reason for being grasped by the consciousness that definitely holds the entry is only direct perception. Why? Because it is not without cause, and there is no other continuum that surpasses the function of direct perception. Although there is direct perception, if there is no it, then it will not become its cause, but direct perception is seen as the cause. Therefore, because there is no pervasiveness, the reasoning is not allowed in the contradictory side, because it pervades what is to be accomplished by itself, it is the reasoning of self-nature. Although it has become direct perception, the consciousness that clings to what arises at the end of the interrupted continuum has nothing to grasp in it, therefore it has no object at that time. To show that the term 'non-existence' is also established from the unobserved that can be observed, therefore, the concluding instruction is shown, therefore, the direct perception of this nature of seeing is grasped by the self-aware direct perception. What is unmixed is what does not possess realization and its nature. Or the statement is in relation to the discrimination that will be explained. This is to prevent oneness, and to place the undifferentiated non-observation as the very nature of the reasoning. That discrimination is its nature.
