Translation completed. If someone does not understand the symbols, then for them, the essence of things is not like that. As it is said, for each individual, because the individual and the meanings expressed by the individual are not essentially different, therefore all those who do not understand the symbols will have a connection. Just as things are, why is this essence not different? It is explained: Anything that loses its self-nature (Tibetan: བདག་ཉིད་) is selfless, because it leads to that result. If each individual's self-nature becomes different at the time of understanding the symbols, then this would lead to selflessness. Therefore, self-nature is one, and it is also a connection. Wouldn't it lead to becoming multiple? Wouldn't it lead to selflessness? To illustrate this, it is explained: Self-nature exists, because it exists in its essence. Because no self-nature exists, and everything is irreversible, therefore this leads to selflessness. Like this, the person who understands the symbols and the person who does not understand the symbols, the essence of the same thing seen by them, if the thing seen by the person who understands the symbols is: not present in the thing seen by the other person, and the thing seen by the person who does not understand the symbols is also not present in the other person. Therefore, any self-nature that becomes the object seen by the symbol is not present in the other person, because he sees an essence that is contrary to it. Anything of the other person, if compared to the person who understands the symbols, is also non-existent. Therefore, because of mutual comparison, neither essence exists, so it would lead to selflessness, only consciousness would remain, not external things. Saying that self-nature is both multiple and singular is wrong, because different things are the characteristics of essentially different. Therefore, like this, by showing that all actions of understanding symbols would become blind, and in a concluding way, in order to show the meaning from the inference, therefore "therefore" is said. The combination of sound is the combination with sound. The meaning that is not combined with sound, that is what is seen. Because of seeing, this is the meaning of reason. For that, the reason reversed from the inference is this.

It is so, whatever is seen is unmixed with sound. This experience is also what is seen, and this is called the reason of self-nature. To hold this as mixed with sound, it is certain that it is associated with the remembrance of sound. If there is no remembrance, then it is unreasonable to hold on to things distinguished by non-near sounds. For what is seen, it is also pervaded by the nature of being separate from the definite remembrance of sound. Therefore, since the pervader does not appear, when returning from the inconsistent aspect, it will pervade the holding of meanings unrelated to sound. This is the general reasoning of what is seen, and the particular of what is seen is the dharma, therefore, one aspect of what is promised will not become a reason. In order to show the nature of non-discrimination in other ways, it is said "or". That which is free from discrimination, that is, without discrimination, that which can establish it is direct perception. When the image of appearance is determined to be without discrimination by the direct perception itself, because the appearance does not appear, only speech is made, for this, direct perception itself is the statement of the establishment of non-existence. If it is thought that, just as the ground lacking the appearing vase is observed, is it also not observed any state of wisdom lacking the appearing image? The answer is: when there is the special existence of the state of mind that is immovable, that is, attached to one meaning and unchanging. What must be done to abide in this way? From all, that is, from all things that should be distinguished, the mind, that is, the awareness of the object, is collected, that is, stopped and abided. Abiding should also be seen as continuous entry. Because the cause of the collection of the mind is the cause of being unmoving and unchanging. It is not because the cause of not moving is the collection of the mind. Therefore, it is said that from the collection of the mind arises the absence of movement and abiding. When abiding in this way, whatever becomes the eye faculty and sees form, that is, seeing form with the seeing eye, is the wisdom born from the faculty observed by direct perception, which is free from the appearance of discrimination. In order to establish this well, it is said, the appearance of speaking discrimination.
