Because there is no discernment, it is impossible to do only these things. This cannot discern whether the object of a previously seen realm and the object of a currently seen realm are the same or different. If someone says that the absence of discernment itself has a reason, then it is because of the power of the realm in an accessible realm, and because of the cause produced by power, there is no discernment. What is produced by the power of the proximity of the realm only grasps its own nature, and not the difference and the possessor of difference that are attached due to habit at the time of the sign. The previously seen object is also said to be the realm of the previously seen knowledge, and it is not present as it is seen, because if the previous view changes, its realm will also change. Therefore, it cannot be grasped. If one cannot discern the previously seen object, then how can one cling to the non-nature of the meaning that produces differences and so on, which is attached? Therefore, it is unreasonable to discriminate for the nature of clinging to the attached differences and so on, and the object with differences. If one admits that there is discernment, then there is no difference between the consciousness of the senses and the consciousness clinging to the meaning that is not close, and what was seen before and what was seen later, grasped by one consciousness, becomes clinging to the meaning that is not close. Therefore, even if the senses separately determine the clinging to form, it will become without difference, and because it falls into without difference, the consciousness of the senses is without discernment. If the clinging to the meaning that is not close has no difference, then the various distinctions of the past and future and objects, that is, the different natures of impermanence and suffering and so on, which have opposite reasons, will also be clung to by the consciousness of the senses, and the consciousness will not cling to them. For these and inference, the consciousness of the senses will not be different, and from seeing, one will realize what is not seen, and not inferring, that is, the discriminating consciousness of consciousness will be the opposite of this. These and the meaningful are possessions. Relying on it is related to it, that is, the consciousness of

It is knowledge. The opposite of this is non-dependence, which is sense consciousness. Saying "those" is to distinguish repetition. Those and so on, merely relying on wishes and so on, will fall into those. Here, the knower knows the Dharma of knowledge, such as the past Dharma and so on, merely relying on grasping non-proximate objects, because it is discernment, so sense consciousness also has the nature of non-proximate objects, therefore it will also fall into the Dharma of merely being its reason. Regarding this, even if there is inference and so on, it will not become consciousness, because for it, no other cause is seen other than the cause of grasping the past and so on from a non-proximate object. Similarly, even if the object of sense consciousness is a non-proximate object, if it depends on a real meaning, it will also fall into consciousness. Sense consciousness abides in what is called dependence on meaning by knowing its aspect, which is not the case, because it also knows the aspect of the non-dependent past and so on. However, it comes from knowledge itself, and there is no difference for consciousness. Or, sense consciousness will also fall into non-dependence, because there is no difference. Similarly, for the entry of mere intention, it should also be applied with non-proximity. Therefore, if one abandons the grasping of non-proximity itself, then because there is no discernment, it is established that there is no direct perception of distinction. Consciousness manifestly accumulates, that is, what is combined with the difference of habituation at the time of expression and so on, sense consciousness can grasp, therefore sense consciousness should not act as remembering the past and so on, because it is done by consciousness. Sense consciousness is also the consciousness that grasps differences, which is to show that it is so promised. Saying "no" is to refute what others have said. Explaining the reason, because it does not grasp the differences and so on as said, therefore such knowledge is the nature of difference, because it should not be completely determined. Thus thinking: consciousness itself approaches
