is the complete abandonment of one's own nature's loss. It is the complete abandonment of one's own nature's loss. The loss of one's own nature is negation, so how can these two contradictory things exist simultaneously in one thing? Therefore, what is heard must contradict some things, or its own nature is not completely isolated, so it is not something that makes people understand. If what is heard is the consciousness that produces hearing, That is also able to function, so, since what is heard contradicts the permanent dharma, isn't it the permanent dharma that makes people understand impermanence? If what is heard is only the function recognized by the consciousness of hearing? If so, then it is something that makes people understand. However, that is common, because mere existence exists for all things. If producing the consciousness of hearing is what is heard, and that is unique, then it will not become something that makes people understand. That is because it relies on the sound itself to cause harm, so is it necessary to prove that sound has universality? Which valid cognition has already proved that sound has the universality of impermanence, and since it has been proved that sound is impermanent, then what is the use of what is heard? This can make everything non-common understandable. In addition, it has been said before that for one dharma, it cannot be shown that existence is pervaded by impermanence. Then, for existence itself with a definite object, since it cannot be established that it is pervaded by impermanence, then the thing that has just arisen will not be pervaded either, because it has a definite object. If you ask this, then the thing that has just arisen is not clinging to the nature of existence to prove that it is pervaded by impermanence, but the result of effort. That is also because it acts according to the order of effort, so what is related to it is pervaded by impermanence, and not just existence. What is related to effort is not different from existence, so because it is self-nature, there is no fault. If not seeing is not contradictory, then now non-perception is not a valid cognition, because it is possible to be harmed by a valid cognition. Not seeing and establishing contradiction is being harmed by a valid cognition. Like this, besides not seeing the harm, other harms

For the unseen, which is considered to be the cessation of seeing, it is possible to be harmed by other valid cognitions. Because it harms that unseen in that way, it is also possible for it to happen here as well. How can doubt arise even if the valid cognition that harms has not intervened? If there is harm to what possesses the characteristic of making understandable, then "its" means making understandable. If the characteristic is harmed just by that, then what is to be expressed cannot be expressed, therefore it is said to be refuted, because it cannot express. Because for the same object, that characteristic is not an expresser, therefore, in order to establish the opposite, the previous non-perception is also not reliable, that is, not believed. The meaning is that it is certain that it is not making understandable. If that is the case, then for the object to be understood by inference, seeing contradictions with direct perception and inference, and being unreliable, is the same for inference as well. For example, for the word "ripe," although it has the three characteristics of being born from the same branch and having no difference in shape, how can it be blue when direct perception experiences it as unripe? For the statement "because it is its son," even if its son itself has three characteristics, blueness itself is like being harmed by direct perception. Or, for example, when establishing impermanence itself, the agent itself, which has three characteristics, says that sound is permanent, because it is audible. If it is said that inference is harmed because audibility itself, which has three characteristics, harms it, then, in order to refute this statement, it is explained that it is not like that. Like what has been said before, inference with the characteristics that have already been stated, its own nature and the relationship arising from it, cannot be harmed by direct perception and inference. Its son itself and being born from the same branch have no relationship with what is to be established. The agent is related to what is to be established, therefore it is not harmed, and audibility itself is not a harmer because it is not related. If inference is not harmed by direct perception and inference, then when a sign with three characteristics shows harm in the same way as having three characteristics, then the statement that there is no contradiction and error would be unreasonable. It is explained: Ratio
