Therefore, it will not change without a cause. If so, someone might doubt: the first moment is the thing, the second moment is destruction, and the third moment is transformation, so there is a difference. To this, the answer is: although some destruction arises from that thing, for the things that have already arisen and are arising, destruction is not needed to naturally distinguish them. This is what is said: the thing that produces destruction, its firm nature will not change because of its production, so the meaning itself will not disappear. Even so, it will not be consistent with the thing called previous ashes. If the thing plays the role of transforming its own nature, then it itself will become the dharma of transformation. Because the thing of destruction that arises from it is obtained from its ability to destroy. If it does not have the ability to transform itself, then how does it produce a thing that can transform itself? If it can transform its own nature, then because it itself has transformed, there is nothing else that can be done. If there is no ability to transform, then whatever it does cannot be transformed, because there is no cause of ability. The poison of rats and mad dogs, etc., and things that actually have no ability, can also see ability through chanting mantras, right? Similarly, even if a thing cannot transform itself, it will transform, if you say so, this is meaningless. Like this, any thing that actually does not have the ability to produce any result, then it itself only through its nature does the accompanying action, and the accompanying action can actually produce results, is also impossible. Here, only through the thing called destruction that it does, it must destroy its own thing, not change through propagation like causing death through the spread of poison. This shows that from which collection the thing arises, the thing is destroyed from that collection. Therefore, even if it is a moment, it is temporarily established that destruction is different, this is what is said. That collection itself is actually the dharma of the transformation of the thing.

It should be done as its own nature, and the destruction caused by it should also eliminate the very thing that actually arises. Therefore, if that combination can reverse the nature of what actually arises, and is able to do the reversing, then why not make the act of reversing itself a method of reversing? What is the use of relying on tradition? If its nature is not a method of reversing, then other things cannot reverse it either. It is also unreasonable for one combination to produce some results, because merely arising from one combination or merely arising from it cannot cause things to perish. Therefore, if it is a thing of non-perishing nature, then impermanence cannot be inferred from it. Therefore, this states this point: if it merely follows things, then the destruction that becomes the result is without cause, and it is established as merely related to it. If it is another thing, then things will not perish. Therefore, if one does not rely on other causes and admits that it is merely related to it, then one must admit it itself, otherwise the destruction of things is unreasonable. If, even without its own nature, the arising of beings from following and reversing does not become an indicator of destruction? To this, because some beings are seen to perish, it is following; and if one does not see the arising of non-impermanent things, that is, does not see having birth, then it is reversing. Because there is nothing to prove from the unseen, it is a reversal of reasoning from the contradictory side, and following and reversing are therefore infallible reasoning. Because it can also be understood from the infallible, therefore, in order to dispel the doubt of "what is the use of its own nature for this," it is said: merely not seeing in the contradictory side cannot be a reasonable infallible reasoning, because even if there is unseen, there is still a possibility of error for this, just like the error on the coloring of deceptive fruits. There, in order to prove it itself, it is said: even if many colored fruits are seen, merely because they are contained in deception,

It is not established. If other characteristics are established, then it can be established on the Dharma, and it is only stated to eliminate it, just like this, explaining such a nature. Why is it not established? Because of seeing the delusion. Like this, it is the nature of rice, etc. Being related to fire, water, seedlings, etc., the similar causes that gather with this gather, and this will not become a delusion. If it is not like that, if there is no such characteristic, then there is a remainder here, so it is with a remainder, meaning that there is an undetermined object. That is also a delusion. In order to show the nature of having a remainder, it is said that whatever can establish, for what is not to be established, merely showing the reversal because of not seeing, its reversal is uncertain, so there will be doubt about being on the dissimilar side. The reason for entering the dissimilar side is also incomprehensible.
