The cause of the nature of things is the same and different cause. If so, then the barley sprouts and rice sprouts with different causes have different abilities and different appearances, and their nature is also different. Rice sprouts with the same cause are able to accomplish the same thing, and their appearance is the same, and their nature is also the same. When associated with something with a different cause, if it is the same as the other, then at that time the difference between the other and it is without cause. Because there is no other nature, it will become without cause in all cases. For this, the various natures of all things called "also" are without cause, because the place, time, and nature cannot be determined, so the fault has been explained. Everything will also arise from everything, which is another fault. When the abilities of the causes are uncertain, because it is precisely what is to be produced, everything will produce, so everything will arise from everything. Therefore, as long as something exists, the production of its result will not stop. Therefore, because of confusion about one of these two, the causeless itself, or different and not different, will become causeless itself because of the causeless. The fallacy of everything arising from everything is the case of causelessness. If there is no cause, then everything is contained in everything, and everything will also become a cause. There is no difference in this, so it is causeless. Because everything arises from everything in this way, different and not different results will arise from different and not different causes. Therefore, smoke does not arise from things that do not match the appearance and kind of what is seen, but only from where it is seen to arise. If it is not so, it will become causeless. If it is causeless, then things will either always exist or never exist, because causeless things do not depend on other things. Why? Because things that appear occasionally are the place of the result.

It is because of reliance. To dispel this, it is said, "That smoke." If it does not arise from the absence of hundreds, then there will be no obstruction, because there is nothing incomplete in its arising. The so-called "desire" is the time of existence. The so-called "at that time also" is also at the time of existence. That time of existence, for the purpose of producing it, is no different from the time of non-existence. Like this, if a thing does not depend on a cause, what is the harm in it sometimes occurring? Therefore, it is said, "Those with dependence." An occasional thing is occasional. The thought is this: there is no other reason than dependence on that object. Some people think that "so-and-so is the cause of so-and-so," because if it exists, the result exists; if it does not exist, the result does not exist, so it becomes a cause by dependence with the characteristic of following existence and non-existence, and this has no difference for the timing of the result. Therefore, what is said, "time is the cause" refers to the time of existence and non-existence, because in those times, it has what is capable and incapable of producing that thing. At the time of existence, it has the ability to produce it; at the time of non-existence, it has the inability to produce it. Therefore, it is occasional, and if it is occasional, then it is dependent. If the times of existence and non-existence are capable and incapable, then how is it? Therefore, it is said, "The object and time have similar capability and incapability." If it is thought that the object and time of existence and non-existence are equally capable and incapable, then the certainty that some object and time of it correspond to it and have a result, or another object and time that does not correspond to it, is unreasonable. If there is no difference between capable and incapable, then everything will correspond to it or not correspond to it, and the certainty that some object and time correspond to it, and others do not, will not be established here. Like this, it is unreasonable, because of the unreasonableness, the object and time in which things change are the cause of things, and those in which they do not change are not the cause of incapability. Capability itself is also a different meaning from the thing of the cause.
