also depend on the difference of the opposite aspects and become different from each other. That which is not deceptive in the aspect of certainty and is completely followed is a valid cognition; that which is deceptive is not a valid cognition. For example, the knowledge of a person with blurred vision who perceives a collection of hairs as hairs is not a valid cognition with respect to the aspect of hairs, just as it is not a valid cognition with respect to its own nature. Therefore, being a valid cognition depends on not being deceptive in certainty, and the qualities of the objects of certainty are also different depending on the opposite aspects. The function of valid cognition is in the difference between individual qualities. Therefore, that which is existence ascertained by being the opposite of non-existence is not an object of valid cognition together with permanence. Because that existence is established by direct perception as being different from permanence, and permanence is also different from existence and is the object of other functions. Therefore, when one doubts the non-deceptiveness of permanence, which is ascertained by direct perception based solely on the existence that possesses non-deceptiveness, there is no fault of non-establishment or contradiction because it is analytical observation. If it is said, where will the object to be pervaded and the pervading entity be established? What example is there for establishing permanence? One should not establish reasoning based on scriptures. When others, who do not rely on philosophical systems, refute momentariness, by this refutation, they must also make the opponent concede that some things are momentary; otherwise, it would not be a reason because there is no example. Therefore, there are no examples for that which the property to be proven is not established. What is said to be taken as an example there and then means that on an object other than the subject of what is to be proven, the valid cognition that harms can be applied based on the existence of a reason, but not otherwise. Therefore, the object of the existence of a reason, the meaning of the scope of activity that greatly shows the harming valid cognition, is an example, but it is not established in the external opponent as possessing the property to be proven. If the harming valid cognition does not depend on the establishment of the property to be proven, then what does the harming valid cognition rely on to the example's property?

Because the valid cognition that shows that what is made is pervaded by impermanence, impermanence is also established on the subject of proof, so the valid cognition that harms everything is able to establish the proof. Therefore, it is too much to not be the reason of self-nature. If it is said that harm itself will not occur without relying on existence or being made, so it must rely on existence. In that case, since the proof is established from the nature of the similar class that exists simultaneously with the valid cognition that harms, it is too much to not have three modes. Answer: Since pervasion is established on the subject of proof itself, what is the use of grasping other subjects? What you said is unreasonable. Like this, completely abandoning the visible objects other than the subject of proof. For one subject, it is not possible to show the valid cognition that harms. If it is said that if sound is not momentary, it will not become existent. Like this, if you want to show the valid cognition that harms, if others, like visible objects such as pots, are effective even if they are not momentary, then this sound is also like that. If you say that, then the visible pots and so on must also become the object of the valid cognition that harms. If they become the object, some non-appearing things are also effective. Even if it is not momentary, it will become like that, and these visible things are also like that. If you also say that, then the non-appearing things that are used as other examples must also become the object of the valid cognition that harms. How can the valid cognition that harms be well shown to one subject of proof? Therefore, the scholar's pervasion and the things that pervade, which are established, are considered to have the object of including all meanings. Whatever is slightly made is impermanent. That is what is said. It is not desired that the aspects of the limbs and so on depend on their own distinctions. Therefore, it must be determined that the sign of the object of all meanings, through the valid cognition that harms, the pervasion pervaded by its own proof has been established. If you show the pervasion that has the inclusion of all meanings, then everything
