The result, namely, depending on the difference and ..., and existence itself, is like expressing the purity of being able to function. If there is no word expressing difference added to the word "made," isn't it just that the object of "made" is called the word "made"? If so, how does the word "made" express the nature of depending on difference? The answer is: In order to make oneself established, so it is said. For the sake of establishing, it depends on the actions of other causes and conditions. The meaning is this: Because depending on the action is called "made," therefore, the word "made" expresses the nature of depending on difference. It is not in all cases that adding other words can understand other meanings. In some cases, the difference will be understood, so words are added. For example, when saying "the pot is made," it will be understood that the difference is made by the potter, which depends on the speaker's intention, and the difference can be added or not. In the case where the difference is included, it is not added, for example, the word "living" is understood as "existing," so there is no need to add the word "life." Similarly, the word "made" also includes dependence on cause. Therefore, here the word "made" is to understand the difference, and the word "made" is the difference included in it. Precisely for this reason, it is not said "made by causes." For those with different natures distinguished by the difference of causes, differences are added. Therefore, when the word depending on difference approaches nature, there are cases where the word expressing difference is added and the word is not added. Not adding the word of difference is contradictory to expressing difference. Therefore, if the word of the fruit of understanding difference is exemplified in "the sentence is made," then in the explanation, the word "made" in which the difference is included is exemplified. In order to show that such a situation is not expressing self-nature purity, other such self-nature differences are drawn out. In order to explain other self-nature reasons, so it is said here.

Regarding this nature of the characteristic possessing the distinct differences of conditions, applying the term 'condition' is precisely to express its particularity. Thus, the reason of nature is one with particularity. That which lacks particularity is like impermanence itself. The term 'existent' signifies functionality, not something else. Nature with particularity is also of two kinds: depending on the distinctions of phenomena that have become the self, and depending on other relations. For example, it is considered like the distinct arising of things depending on turning away from something, and the thing related to that arising is established as the reason. That relation is also the very nature of things. To show that, having fully grasped whatever phenomenon has become the nature, it is connected as the reason of nature. An example is like arising from that itself. The term 'arising' signifies the very thing that possesses arising. Arising itself without a basis is not any reason. Therefore, it is the reason of nature with the particularity of arising. Therefore, all that is described as possessing arising is arising. The so-called 'this side' means that through this side, namely, through the explanation of the detailed classification of nature that depends on purity, dependence on other particularities, and dependence on the distinctions of phenomena that have become the nature, the classifications of the reason of nature should also be viewed elsewhere. All of this expresses this meaning: wherever the term 'nature' or the term 'existent' closely states its own essence, that itself does not become the reason of nature; however, through the term expressing particularity and relation, all statements of the proving phenomenon that has no difference from what is to be proven are nature itself. By closely stating the particularity, one should not be confused. Furthermore, how is this nature to be understood? Speaking of that nature, if the made thing is determined by valid cognition to be invariably pervaded by permanence, then it is understandable. If there is no determination of pervasion, or
