Because it is known as a conventional term, it itself is the cause of understanding the meaning of the Vedas. If the word "to burn in fire" expresses dog meat, or the word "should be given" does not have the meaning of eating, then how can this meaning be understood? In response to this doubt, it is explained that if there is anything in this world that can see objects beyond the senses, then who can distinguish the meaning of the Vedas? Because the non-human meaning is beyond the senses, so form and other things cannot be understood by the senses in the same way. And there is no one who can see objects beyond the senses, therefore, no one can definitely point out the non-human meaning. The worldly meaning ability also depends on approximate indications, therefore it is conventional, not non-human. Therefore, how can the non-human meaning be determined from convention? The statement that the meaning of the Vedas is understood from the non-human explanation is also refuted by this, because the explanation itself is also without definite meaning. However, even if the worldly word-meaning relationship does not arise from convention, the worldly word-meaning relationship is diverse, therefore meaning cannot be determined from it. If the worldly word has only one meaning, then the meaning of the Vedas will also be determined as one. However, worldly words have various meanings, for example, nine meanings can be understood from the word "go". Similarly, depending on convention, all meanings can be seen in all words. There is no difference between the meaning understood from convention and the meaning understood from convention, therefore, all worldly words have all meanings, because they are conventional. Therefore, how can the final meaning be determined from these words? Or: words such as heaven, goddess, etc., are not conventional, but express what is seen. The analyst himself says that heaven is special happiness, and the goddess is a rubbing wood. How can a convention that is not reliable for one person be reliable for another? For example, burning in fire...

It is unreasonable to say that "the sound of action will turn into dog meat." Why? If it is thought that its meaning is explained in other places by the Vedas in other ways. Then, that kind of explanation of the Vedic sound expressing unknown meanings in other places will become that kind of conceptualization. Like the language of fire offerings, in the language of fire offerings, etc., the Vedic aspect that determines the cause will also change. Its meaning should be examined from the worldly. But the worldly is not a valid measure either. Therefore, just like the king's speculation, I also understand it there as being in accordance with eating dog meat. Because, for the sound of fire offerings, etc., if it is not established that it has a definite meaning, in order to show that it can well establish a definite meaning, if there is no one's instruction, then the so-called "self," that is, the nature of showing the meaning of the language of fire offerings, etc., the only aspect of the Vedas, because the meaning is not established, it has no ability. Because, for it also exists the same refutation and examination. Just like the way of "must be determined," etc. Furthermore, it is unreasonable to fully grasp the meaning of the Vedic sound through worldly fame, which is explained by "fame." People's words are not considered valid measures, and from them also understanding the meaning of the Vedic sound, what kind of hatred and desire is this? Only when one hates which aspect of worldly people, does one desire it when one considers the Vedic words to be valid measures, because one relies on it to fully grasp the meaning of the Vedas. If one transcends fame, completely abandons it, what reason do you have for understanding the unknown meaning, that is, eating dog meat? The teacher said "extreme fame," etc. If fame is not a valid measure, then how can the meaning of the Vedas be determined from something that is not a valid measure? Even if it is determined, you have examined the meaning that does not conform to the valid measure, in that way I also understand it as eating dog meat, therefore we two are the same.

It is called "Urro." Furthermore, by what worldly fame do you want us to doubt the meaning of the Vedic verses, and by this alone, do you want to establish the existence of things? Like this, merely by fame, when one wants to determine the sole meaning of the verses, doubts arise, such as "What exactly is the meaning here?" Because the reason for doubting something cannot be the reason for determining that thing. If asked, how can fame be the cause of doubt? Because worldly idioms and fame are seen to attach sounds to various different things. Things with multiple meanings either originate from fame or from convention, which has already been determined before. If it is said that worldly words have multiple meanings, and the true meaning of worldly words has not been grasped, even so, one should adopt those worldly sayings that are not negated by reason (tshad ma), and discard those that are negated by reason. For example, the expression of fire offerings, etc., of putting offerings such as ghee into the fire, is not negated by reason, therefore one should adopt this saying, and not adopt sayings such as eating dog meat. If it is said that if one adopts those worldly sayings that are not negated by reason, then what is the difference between this and the words of the non-human (skyes bus ma byas pa) son of wind (rlung gi bu'i)? Non-human words are also in accordance with reason, therefore they are also meanings that should be adopted. If the words of castration spoken by the son of wind are not negated by reason, then why are they not adopted? Who would be so attached to completely adopting non-human words? When understanding is done through the power of reason, adopting the words of the son of wind is not the Veda, because the words of the son of wind have reason, while the Veda cannot have reason. What reason is there to say that eating dog meat can attain high status, while putting in offerings such as ghee cannot? Like this, the cause of attaining high status that is beyond the senses (dbang po las 'das pa'i), eating dog meat or other permanent things, are all beyond the senses. For things that are beyond the senses, whether the reason that negates or proves it arises from the power of the thing itself.
