Whatever is not of its own nature actually produces, but is not apprehended, like the sense faculties. For what arises from the weakening of the sense faculties due to dimness, etc., since an inverted appearance is posited, it actually produces, but is not apprehended, because for the consciousness of two moons, the self-appearance of one moon is not posited. If you ask, how is consciousness apprehended by another consciousness? The answer is, because there is no cause that obstructs the positing. If you ask, is it not contradictory that the same object can and cannot be posited as consciousness? Then, appearance would also contradict the establishment and obstruction of the ability to generate eye consciousness in owls and eyes, etc. If you say that appearance is a co-actor, so there is no contradiction, then the object is also a co-actor of consciousness with aspects, but it is not the immediate cause, so it generates aspects for some things but not for all, so there is no fault. For those who decide, there is no such ability, so it is not direct perception. If someone thinks that these are understood by inference, then by what? The result of these is not necessarily observed either. This is what is said: the cause of a result that is different from one's own continuum is not necessarily to be produced, like the continuum of smoke. The result that is produced is not necessarily observed, and even if it is observed, it is not necessarily recognized as its result. If the objects of cause and effect are to be established by direct perception and non-perception, then it is impossible for eons. For hidden objects, too, because the appearing object is not suitable as another object, it is inferred through existence, like the eye. For that purpose, it is said necessarily, otherwise it would be said that only the result is not observed. Therefore, it cannot be inferred by inference. Even if these are established by direct perception, inference, and scripture, it is not possible to say definitively that they do not exist. Because there is no knower and no understander, it is beyond the senses, it is not the object of the senses, or the difference in the nature of the appearing object.

It is related to that sound which says, "Showing that it makes it inverted." Because there is the sound of the word "any." What is beyond the senses, and what is the difference of nature? For example, and so on, has been said. The difference between a mind free from desire and a deity is that it becomes beyond the senses. Giving alms of material things and abandoning harm, etc., those minds that seek meaning are the cause of higher realms. Regarding this, even for the manifest minds of giving, etc., abandoning the very nature of the cause of higher realms, which is the characteristic of higher realms, etc., is abandoning the difference of nature. But it is not abandoning the meaning of the characteristic of the mind of giving in all cases. It is like the word "cause." It means that through this, it is such a meaning. Whatever, like this, abandons the meaning beyond the senses or the difference of nature, is inverted. From the meaning of abandoning, that abandonment is inverted. Therefore, without recognizing that there is no difference, saying the cause of inversion, for the difference of nature, manifestly making the cause of inversion, etc., is explained. That fruit refers to higher realms. Not having that fruit is not having that, which refers to having other fruits. That which does not have fruit, because it is similar to the Dharma, is similar. Just as the fruit of sprouts, etc., seeds, etc., are the immediate cause of that fruit, if the mind of giving, etc., is the possessor of the fruit of higher realms, then that fruit must be produced immediately, because it is fabricated in a similar way, so it is inverted. This higher realm is not the possessor of the fruit of the mind of giving, etc., if it were, it would become similar to others. But it is also not similar, because there is no immediate cause of that fruit. Just as the fruit of seeds, etc., is the immediate cause, the fruit of this will also be produced immediately in that way. If that fruit is produced immediately, but it is not invisible
