It is functioning. Therefore, the reason for saying "therefore" is that in order to explain one aspect of universality, thereby deriving two aspects, therefore, the two aspects should not be combined. Universality must also be understood through certainty, therefore, in order to teach that one should combine words with certainty to explain things with certainty, it has been explained that both aspects have certainty. If it is said that the two aspects should not be combined at the same time, but rather it is explained that one should combine words with certainty in one aspect, then it is said that it is not so. Then, how should it be? For the sake of other results, one should combine aspects with certainty, and when combining, the second aspect is only mentioned incidentally. If it is said that merely existence and non-existence are concomitant and contradictory, then the combination of the two aspects will also become incomprehensible. If there is no certainty like this, then the meaning of the combination will become like this: whatever exists in the similar side and does not exist in the dissimilar side, that is the reason. Even things that grow from the same tree stump only exist in the similar side and only do not exist in the dissimilar side. Therefore, in order to avoid this situation, one should definitely say existence and non-existence, and even if one only definitely says existence or non-existence, one can derive the second aspect. Among them, the most fundamental meaning is: because it is said with certainty, the reason can be understood, therefore, certainty is inevitable, and if one aspect is said, the second aspect can be derived, therefore, the second aspect should not be combined. The certainty of the reason in the similar side is due to the relationship, and it is from this that it contradicts from the dissimilar side. The definite contradiction from the dissimilar side is also due to the relationship, and it is from this that it is certain from the similar side, and this relationship is also the characteristic of concomitance, therefore, when combining contradiction, one can also understand concomitance. Because when understanding one aspect, one can also definitely understand the second aspect, in order to refute this error, "if" etc. have been said. Even if what should be heard is contradictory in itself, it is not understandable in itself.

If, by realizing the contradiction, it is determined that the subsequent following is certain, then how should it be said? Because the reason is understood through the fully established subsequent following and contradiction. Therefore, even if the contradiction is realized, the subsequent following is not realized, therefore, audibility itself is not understandable, if it is said like this, then it is said that this is not to refute it. Because audibility itself does not have contradiction. If there is contradiction, then there must also be subsequent following, because if there is not, it will not arise. The so-called "from some", refers to permanence or impermanence. If it is determined to contradict from some things, then there will be no doubt about what things are contradicted from. However, because of its own existence, it is understood that it does not exist, and even if it is understood that there is no contradiction, the other party must exist, therefore, if audibility itself does not become the cause of establishing doubt, then, in order to establish the cause of doubt, it is also impossible to determine contradiction from some things. In order to clarify this, in order to show that the reason for contradiction itself is the definite cause, therefore it is said "for those who have contradiction". For those who have contradiction, there is no doubt, for example, from the aspect of being made, it is like impermanence. When the aspect of being made contradicts permanence, in some cases, when it exists itself, it is the removal. The aspect of being made must contradict permanence, but will there also be doubt about the object of the aspect of being made, permanence? This cannot be said. If there is no doubt about the object of permanence, then due to the nature of existing by completely cutting off, there is also no doubt about impermanence. Therefore, whoever has contradiction is not the cause of doubt, and whoever is the cause of doubt is doubtful about contradicting from all things. If you think like this, even if audibility contradicts from some things, it can only contradict the object of contradiction, but for establishing the nature of the other party, it is to generate doubt, then it is said "the law of things". Because audibility is the law of things, and whatever is the law of things must also contradict all things, even so, it is not the object of contradiction, but things.
