Because the nature of relatedness is not established. Seeing other things that are unrelated, it is not necessarily reasonable that other things that are not the appearance of the inner essence are certain, because the doubt has not been eliminated, even if there is no external thing, there is no seeing of verbal expression for that thing. For example, like a sugarcane cart spread out on the riverbank, it is unrelated. This fault in the context of speech is the same for words, because even if that thing does not exist, there is seeing of verbal expression for it. If it is said that the meaning of words does not not exist in all cases, then that is true, but like non-existence and smoke, sounds do not depend on the obstruction of the mind, and it is not the case that they arise in connection with things, but rather the mind obstructs them. Like this, if a thing exists, it can be seen, and from that arises the thought of showing it, and from that arises the desire to express it, and from that arises sound. Therefore, when the thing that one wants to express clearly is not seen, or when there is no thought of recognition and verbal expression is made, then that is wrong, and if one wants to express another meaning, then that is clearly wrong. Before, it was like that, sounds acknowledged being related to the thing to be proven, and because there was no pervasive nature, it was abandoned as a valid means of knowledge. Now, that which does not arise without existence is refuted with its root. So, how will it be included in inference, and for what are these valid means of knowledge? It is said that the speaker, etc. The meaning of the speaker's intention is that which is made an object by intention, and that is also because appearance and conceptualization are unified, although it is also one's own nature, but for that, it is a valid means of knowledge, it is the appearance of the conceptualization that was previously overcome by me, clinging to external objects, and is said to be the meaning that one wants to express clearly. That appearance is also not different from knowledge, therefore, the appearance of the meaning to be shown, the intention to express, the very consciousness of the conceptualization that universally arises, is what is said in that way. The appearance of the meaning to be shown itself is what is to be inferred, and not merely the intention to express, in order to show this meaning, it is said to be the meaning of intention. Otherwise, when expressing

The reason for saying this is that it will become "intention." The phrase "because it is understandable" is a word of existence, meaning that sounds can infer the intention of expressing meaning, and it is not impossible to infer. Or it means ability, meaning that the meaning of intention can be understood. From these aspects, for example, when saying "bring the bottle here," from the mind where the meaning of the words appears, the desire to express arises. From this idea, the place and function combine, and from this, sound is produced. Therefore, the desire to express sound, until the place and function combine, is an infallible cause of realization. Without the intention to express words, the place and function of each word, term, and letter would not combine. However, due to the habit of wanting to express words, the continuation of cognition is only triggered by the reason that some places and functions gather together. Therefore, when starting to recite familiar scriptures, even in a sleepy state, incomplete content is recited without organization. The result of inferring the infallible intention to express is only understanding it as sentient beings. Moreover, this is not the scholar's view here, but it is believed that what should be inferred here is the idea of realizing its appearance as meaning. The intention to express also arises from situations such as drunkenness, habit, and the desire to recite scriptures, and it also arises from the desire to express other meanings. Therefore, for its realization, the wise should determine through other valid means that this is neither unconsciously spoken due to drunkenness and habit, nor is it merely speaking the essence of words because of the desire to recite scriptures, but only because of the desire to express meaning. Otherwise, inference cannot be made. The wise should understand from some speakers who are in the same context, and should also understand the sounds that arise from the intention to express other meanings. This can be known from unclear, fast, or low expressions by fully understanding the nature of the speaker. Because of the desire to express other meanings, the sound becomes unclear, low, or fast.
