The dharma that understands the idea of having a special meaning is the speaker himself, and it is to prove the specialty of the idea. Sound is the prover, therefore, depending on inferring the idea, it is included in the inference, but if it depends on indicating, then the sounds are not valid cognitions. That is its state. Regarding "if it exists, then it exists and does not appear," since the certainty that "if it exists, then it exists" is a summary arising from within, the concomitance and counter-concomitance are mentioned. Therefore, the subsequent actions of concomitance and counter-concomitance are explained. "If it exists, then it exists and does not appear," non-appearance means no appearance or the appearance of something else. This is related to "it is not an inference." If asked what is not an inference, then the word "completely arising" indicates the object with son, etc. "Completely arising" is arising, that is, the result itself. At what time does it prove? At what time is the thing known as the result itself, but it is not definitely understood as the special result itself? Therefore, from the subsequent actions of concomitance and counter-concomitance of the thing with special meaning, it is known as the result itself. For proving that it is the result itself and proving that the thing does not exist, this is not an inference. The meaning is that from non-appearance, the non-existence of the thing is negated, and from existence, it is determined that it is the result itself, that is existence. If certainty must also become a valid cognition, then this is also not included in inference. Therefore, it is said, "because it does not have concomitance," meaning that it does not possess concomitance. Inference depends on the reason for establishing concomitance, but for "if it exists, then it exists and does not appear," concomitance is not established. Because concomitance is proven by the damaging valid cognition. For example, the pervasive thing, through gradual and simultaneous non-appearance, proves that momentariness pervades existence itself. And, from the pervasive thing, momentariness itself is also proven.

Yes. That which is said to be an example is also where the means of valid cognition that harms exists. Therefore, it is said that there is no example here. Because if the means of valid cognition that harms exists, then it becomes the very place of the example that is well shown. Because there is no means of valid cognition that establishes pervasion, no example exists at all. To show that very reason, it is said that there is no other establisher. The meaning of this is that the reason itself does not establish the pervasion of that reason itself. However, it is by another means of valid cognition. If there is another means of valid cognition, then there will also be a place of example that is well shown. If there is not, then that will also not exist. If this is the case, an example is only needed to show closeness to the establisher of concomitance. Because it is only needed for closeness, it is said that there is no other establisher. Is it not said that that does not exist? Then how can it be said repeatedly that there is no example here? The answer is that the means of valid cognition that establishes concomitance is only to be shown on the property of the example, but not on the property to be established. This is to show this reason. This result will be explained when examining what is to be heard. If one thinks that this means of valid cognition itself establishes concomitance, in this way, if one wants to establish that this is a sprout and so on, then another example is established. Similarly, for some aspects of what is to be established that are separate from a pot and so on, because another is established, if one relies on this means of valid cognition itself, then there is an example. For this doubt, it is said that even if it is establishing that. An example is that which shows the means of valid cognition of the reason for determining concomitance. That is the example, because that would become an infinite fault. The meaning of this is that for what reason is the example to be understood as having concomitance with what is to be established, then for that example, does this reason understand after the concomitance is established? Or is it that the concomitance is not established? If it is understood even if the concomitance is not established, then it will become another means of valid cognition. Even if the concomitance is established, then for that example, there is also the realm of concomitance.
