It abides in an object that is in a hidden state. That which is shown by the force of attainment, that which is to be inferred, the realization of that is inference for one's own sake. Thus, having shown the definition, it eliminates the wrong understanding of the result. The way to understand the result of inference is: the particularity of the result should be known like direct perception; that which is similar to the object is valid cognition, and the nature of understanding the object is the result. The wrong understanding of the object is at the time of establishing the object of direct perception. Therefore, it is clarified by saying that the object of conceptualization is meaningless. However, there is a debate about this: if what is grasped by the conceptualization of inference is the object of the grasped aspect, then how can it be valid cognition? If it is valid cognition, then it comes from obtaining the object that is to be removed. The object that is grasped is meaningless, it is grasped, because it is not able to be obtained. If the self-characteristic of what is grasped can be obtained by inference, then it is valid cognition. But how can it be delusion, an object with no meaning? How can both delusion and valid cognition be established at the same time? In order to eliminate the remaining part of the wrong understanding on the object of debate, in order to show delusion and valid cognition, it is said: the knowledge of inference, even if it is delusion, is valid cognition. This is related. If it is said to be delusion, it is because it grasps what is not that thing, and what is not the nature of that thing, it grasps a non-existent nature. Because it is an imputation, inference is delusion. If it is said to be delusion, then how can it be valid cognition? It is said: because of the connection, because of the connection, it is valid cognition. In order to explain delusion itself, it is said that one's own appearance is one's own form, because one grasps and enters into the meaningless object of the nature of external fire, therefore it is grasping. Grasping one's own essence, which is not external, as external, but in reality there is no external nature. Therefore, although it is delusion because it grasps a meaningless object, because it is connected to the external fire, it is not delusion about that object, and because it is not delusion, it is valid cognition.

Yes. It is said like this, even if there is confusion about what is taken, it is valid because it is related to the object of entry that has been determined. In order to show the connection between inference and external objects through the opposite way, it is said "like this" and so on. Because they are not different, that is, essence and nature are not different, if it does not exist, nature cannot exist. Because the nature of the result is the cause that establishes it, if it does not exist, it does not exist. Just as a result does not arise without a cause, if there is no result and nature, then the consciousness that arises from it, that arises from the result and nature, also does not exist, and this is how it is connected. The consciousness that arises from it is also the object of not being confused about what one wants to establish, but not clinging to the characteristics of the sign itself. Smoke or what is made is not a sign when taken by its own nature, however, it is taken as not arising if what is to be established does not exist. Therefore, the sign clinging to what is to be established is sign consciousness. Moreover, just as it arises from the sign, it also arises from the sign-bearer, therefore, if there is no result and nature, then knowing that it will not arise is no different from the cause of what is to be established. Inferential consciousness does not arise from that, however, not being confused about what is to be established comes from memory, and that memory is the sign, saying this, it is with this connection that the sign separated by memory is close to generating inference. In order to show that it arises from it, it is said that whatever is understood as the essence and cause arising from it does not arise. Similarly, in order to show the natural connection of non-perception, it is said that if there is an object that can appear, then the reversal of the seeing from which other causes are incomplete is also unreasonable, and it should be connected with the existence of the object. Therefore, the reversal of the seeing of the nature of non-perception that is related to the non-existence of the object and related to it is also the valid measure of the non-existence of the object or the expression of non-existence. If inference obtains the object
