then it will depend on others. To know its statement is not complete. The meaning is that when inferring one's own meaning, it is completely certain. Inferring the meaning of others is merely a statement, so there is no need to state it separately. If someone says that the scholar's subsequent statement does not depend on the nearby indication, nor is it a statement of the definition of word knowledge, that is correct. However, in any case, correct knowledge is not written for the purpose of showing it to the wise. Rather, it is for those who cannot understand it themselves, just as words are shown to those who cannot state it themselves. This statement itself, whatever the writing, is for children to understand. Is correct knowledge not incomprehensible? If one knows the connection between sound and meaning, and also knows the meaning, but does not know the combination of sounds that understand it, that is impossible. In order to dispel this doubt, the scholar shows ignorance. As it is, without going beyond the sign, one understands the thing with the sign, that is, from the sign with three modes, one understands the thing to be proven from the smoke. Even if one understands in this way, one can see speaking and stating like a sign. Showing others is the dharma of the sign, that is, the essence, if it is not grasped pervasively, and the remainder of the opposite, those are called such three characteristics. In order to abandon existence and show the remainder, rational people, etc., abandon the existing dharma of the sign and say that it has a remainder. Showing non-pervasiveness is because it does not state the nature of what does not arise without it, and the relationship of the characteristics arising from it, therefore it states non-pervasiveness. The sign is what does not arise without it, so it can make people understand. Showing the remainder, closely gathering is closely establishing. Seeing the sign of ability in the example, and also gathering the subject to be proven, that is closely gathering. That is also relying on similar examples, and similarly sound is also created, it should be done that way, therefore it is called closely establishing. Closely summarizing is closely establishing.

It is so. The meaning to be proven is the meaning of establishing. Repeating it is the conclusion. Moreover, in order to negate the wrongly understanding of the object of the reason that has the function of seeing, it should be regarded as the nature of concluding with "sound is impermanent." These statements are also expressed differently from those combinations. If relying on examples, then on the object of the reason that is known to be non-arising without it, when it has been shown before, the connection with the object is certain. What need is there to give a closer indication to it? The reason that is fully established as non-arising without it shows that some of what is to be proven by itself exists, because it is non-arising without it. Because for it, there is no confusion in the object of the reason. To negate it, the conclusion also has no function at all. Therefore, in order for children to understand the meaning, and also to see the inverted understanding, even if the names spoken do not differ, it is necessary to express the inference for the sake of others in order to show the order of what can be established. Having shown the classification in this way, it is explained in order to show the definition. Among the inferences for oneself and for others, the inference for oneself is: whatever has the three aspects is the reason with the three aspects, and seeing the hidden meaning from it is knowledge, it is certain. If knowledge does not arise in oneself from the reason with the three aspects, However, the hidden meaning is not mentioned. Therefore, if only the reason with the three aspects is mentioned, it will become an inference of seeing it, why would there not be this fault? The answer is: the reason is what makes one understand, and what makes one understand is also knowing and remembering the connection with what is to be proven. Precisely for this reason, it is desired that the reason that is interrupted by memory is what makes one understand, because it is interrupted by bringing out that what is to be proven does not arise without it. When the seeing of its own object arises, the reason itself is the thing itself, but it is still not established as the reason. Whatever knowledge arises from seeing the connection and remembering, that must be something other than what is known by the reason.
