Just as only the nature appears, so too, the appearance of what is to be known comes from the knower, and is not another nature. Therefore, the knowledge of what is to be known appears only in the nature of the knower, and abides in this. Because knowledge appears only in the nature of knowledge, so it is also. It is only a simultaneous arising of certainty, and not otherwise. Because of that reason, the knowledge called "clarity" that appears as the nature of experience is not reasonable in another sense. What is to be known appears in the nature of knowledge, and that appearance is only not another nature other than the nature of knowledge. Appearance is said to be the nature of wisdom. Others say, "That is not any other thing," and "Its meaning is not other knowledge," the meaning of these two sentences cannot be shown to be different. Like self-knowledge, the text in between is considered to be the remainder of the previous verses, and its meaning is explained in this way. If there is no difference because of the certainty of simultaneous arising, then how can there be a different saying such as "blue knowledge"? In order to eliminate this doubt, the text "knowledge also" is presented. What appears as the nature of experience is blue knowledge, not seeing the difference. This meaning has already been said in "experiencing blue etc.," that is, experiencing its nature, what is the use of this repetition? Furthermore, if the phrase "because of that reason also" grasps the meaning just said, and the meaning just said is abiding from the cessation of external objects, then how can it be that because of that reason also, its meaning is not other knowledge? Therefore, it will eliminate the meaning. These two sentences themselves show the difference in meaning. The meaning of the previous sentence, even if external objects are spoken of, is the same intention. The appearance of what is to be known is not considered to be different from the consciousness of others, and relying on that meaning of the intention of others, therefore this reason is also presented. Because the word appearance, you do not consider the nature to be different from the wisdom of the manifester, therefore the meaning of what is manifested is not other than knowledge.

If it is not the nature of experience, then from that there is no awareness that appears as the nature of experience, therefore if one does not recognize things that are different from consciousness, then, if so, then how can falsehood, which is not the nature of experience, be recognized? The answer is, if it is not other things. If it is other things, there will be this fault, if it is not other things, there will be no fault. Because blue and white etc. are not separated from experience, so blue etc. become the nature of experience. Like becoming the nature, it is like this, self-illuminating in the nature of experience, because of the very manifestation, the non-different blue etc. will be experienced. That experience is also its nature, because blue etc. are the nature of light, so it is like this, it is also like this when it appears as the nature of blue etc. It is not holding other things, however, when it appears like this, it is only said that oneself and others appear. For example, the light of lamps etc., only when the self-nature related to others is manifested, it is said that oneself and others appear. When oneself appears, it is said that oneself and others appear. Apart from oneself appearing, there is no other function of manifestation. Because when the nature of light is observed, others are also observed, therefore it is speculated that one object has the function of manifestation. Because simultaneous lamps and colors etc. are the objects of manifestation and the objects to be manifested. And that is also the cause and effect that happened before. In the Pramāṇavārttika it is also said: Oneself through knowledge, becomes the cause of others' wisdom, is called the manifester. Similarly, although experience is the nature of consciousness, it is defiled by ignorance, even if there is no appearance like being distinguished, it will become an object. The nature of ignorance is the ability to manifest unreal things, and it will also show unreal appearances. Therefore, because of its power, it is said that consciousness can recognize oneself and others. But in reality, there is no thing that has not become the nature of awareness that can be recognized. Therefore, just as a lamp has the function of self-illumination,
