Yes. Therefore, since the consciousness endowed with the power of ignorance is the agent that clarifies the nature of untruth, there is no fault in saying that it is clarified by the power of ignorance. Therefore, all cognitions that apprehend meaninglessly in this way should be regarded as the nature of ignorance that clarifies untruth. In all cases, if everything that appears exists, then even Brahma would not be able to regard a single consciousness as an illusion. If what is untrue also exists, then even Indra could not deny the power of consciousness to clarify what is untrue. Even if it is accepted, no one can assert that all experiences are true, so one should not go beyond the power of consciousness to clarify what is untrue. The very nature of untruth is not the truth shown by the power of ignorance, because the connection with truth is not certain. The certain nature of experience, which is unfailing, cannot be abandoned, because it is to be accepted. Furthermore, whatever is experienced but seen to be harmful, that deception should be abandoned, like the nature of two moons. If someone says that illusion does not arise because there is no harm, it will be explained. Similarly, it is also said in the Pramāṇavārttika, "If there is no sacred teaching of harmful wisdom, experience should not be done either." The correct knowledge of the nature of joy and so on is not to be abandoned, because there is no harm. Therefore, it abides in what is not one. For that very reason, an example of illusory consciousness is given. Otherwise, if blue and the nature of blue are ascertained by being perceived together, then there is no difference, but just as there is only one, so too should it be said that blue and its mind are the same. The nature that is related to blue is something other than experience, but it is not another thing. The application of the meaning of the reason is that it is certain that they are perceived together, like two moons and so on. How does illusory consciousness appear as one
