At that time, following others because of seeing differences is not because there are some valid cognitions. Therefore, for all coarse things, because of being related to other directions, seeing the contradictory dharmas arising from the complete division of parts gathered together, one should abandon non-difference, this is intelligence. If that is the case, if it is not the nature of the apprehended aspect, then, for this, just as the six atoms all combined at once and there is no object, the same fault would apply to the atoms of consciousness. Only embodied beings will have this fault, but not for the disembodied, isn't it? What is called embodied does not have something like a cow's horn. However, many small things arise after completely abandoning the realm of each other's nature, therefore, having a vast realm is embodied. Since this is no different from consciousness, it is the same in conventional existence, so it is unreasonable to consider it as many. Furthermore, For those who have experienced the atoms of consciousness, experiencing the coarse aspect cannot be avoided. For one nature of consciousness, there is no coarse. Many atoms of consciousness are also not coarse in their own nature. Just as the external atoms appear to one consciousness, and the dharmas that appear separately are coarse, here too, since they appear to one consciousness, it is unreasonable to appear as coarse, because many are not grasped by anything else. Therefore, if one follows experience, then the coarse appears clearly, and if one does not experience, then one experiences. Therefore, what is the non-existent coarse nature that exists by virtue of which, and that can reveal the non-existence of consciousness, is also existent. If there is no coarse aspect, then what other body is there for the atoms of consciousness? What is the use of examining it? Because the coarse aspect itself will not become not itself, and in order to prevent consciousness from becoming incapable of revealing non-existence, the apprehended aspect is examined as the nature of consciousness.

If it is admitted that it has the power to clearly show that the aspect of what is grasped is not true, and that consciousness is also non-existent, then the discrimination of the subtle particles of consciousness is truly real. The transformation of coarse appearances by discrimination is also unreasonable, because it appears clearly, and discriminations do not appear clearly. It cannot be said that just as the discrimination of water in a mirage appears clearly, so too is coarse discrimination, because the consciousness that grasps the self-nature of the mirage and the discrimination of water that enters simultaneously, the appearance and the discrimination are made one, and therefore it will definitely appear clearly. But here, there is nothing that runs along with it, so that the coarse discrimination is recognized as appearing clearly, and there is nothing that experiences the coarse as appearing clearly. Furthermore, the consciousness of discrimination also only experiences its own self-nature, and there is no coarseness in it, so it does not appear. If it is said that the consciousness of discrimination enters by clinging to its own meaningless self-nature as meaningful, then showing meaninglessness necessarily abides in the very act of revealing non-existence when examined, because when meaninglessness appears, it either makes itself appear or makes another appear, since there is no other way. For the time being, it does not make itself appear, because consciousness itself is the nature of appearance, and also because meaninglessness is not a real thing. If it is made to appear by another, then what makes it appear is the very nature of consciousness, and this nature arises to reveal what is not true. If it is thought that it appears in this way due to the power of ignorance, then, if ignorance is a non-real thing, then the statement that a non-real thing makes a non-real thing appear is meaningless. If it is a real thing, then it is the very nature of consciousness, so how can it reveal the non-real? Because there is no connection between the real and the non-real.
