Furthermore, it is clear. Because no one can be certain that blue is not momentary, because momentariness itself is not of a certain nature. If momentariness itself had a little certainty, like happiness and so on, then when it is seen that it is completely abandoned, it would be certain that it is not momentary. However, momentariness itself has no certainty at all. Therefore, when blue appears, there is doubt as to whether the nature of appearance is momentary or non-momentary. Due to some erroneous factors, the label of non-momentary is imposed on the common nature of both. Therefore, when those truly existent things appear as one, it can be determined that they are empty of other natures. Momentariness itself does not have any shape, so it cannot be determined that it appears to have the characteristic of being completely abandoned. The appearance of blue is known by consciousness to have completely abandoned the shape of happiness, but it is not the shape of happiness. Whatever nature is experienced by consciousness as having abandoned some nature, then due to mutual abandonment, it is different from that nature. Therefore, the happiness that is experienced as being separate from the apprehended aspect, which is the basis of attachment, is empty of blue itself, shape, and the apprehended aspect that is separate from attachment. Even so, it can be determined that happiness experiences emptiness of blue, because blue has become the shapeless place of inner attachment. Happiness experienced as being separate from the apprehended aspect cannot be separate from the apprehending aspect. From the appearance of the apprehended or the apprehending, it is not the apprehended, therefore it is the apprehending itself. Therefore, in this way, whatever the shape of happiness is, it can be determined to be the apprehender of that apprehended. Therefore, those experiences of objects with contradictory natures do not depend on one nature, such as the objects of happiness and suffering. Blue and happiness are also mutually abandoned and experienced as contradictory at the same time.

The term for experiencing a single object is pervaded by the cause of merely having an object of nature devoid of contradictory aggregates, and the object with contradictory qualities is contradictory to being pervasive. The aspect of grasping the nature of happiness, etc., is different from the aspect of what is grasped, and it is established by the power of experience itself, therefore the name should be established. If both of them are real entities, then plurality should be established. If one is not a real entity, then it is non-existence. The grasping aspect of that, the grasping of the grasped aspect, the nature of happiness, etc., whatever is said to be the result by those who speak of consciousness, that is also an appearance, therefore the grasped and the grasping aspect and the nature of happiness, etc., consciousness is the third. That which has the reason of exclusion is the very nature of whatever appears, and not another aspect, like a moment. Furthermore, whatever, having completely abandoned something, becomes consciousness, that is ultimately different from it. If it becomes different by reason of exclusion, then, in that case, whatever is blue, etc., will not become different from anything, because there is no other cause of difference. When the aspect of being without an appearance in the nature of external objects is prevented, and the aspect with an appearance is established, then, at that time, relying on the subsequent inference that is not different, it is said that this, being contrary to non-comprehension, and being contrary to non-blue, is one consciousness, but it is not established by experience. How is that the nature of having a reason for exclusion, and it is also not known by others, the three natures are established. Therefore it is said: Because there is no direct perception, it is not one. These verses show what is not the division of the nature of mind. Whatever is seen by ignorance, is inverted and confused, those will realize the nature of mind together with whatever is different, such as the grasped and the grasper and consciousness, just as mantras accomplished and medicine, etc., confuse the eyes.
