It has its own function, and it is seen to be closely associated with the main thing to be proven. For example, just as a wooden man is blessed and has the function of burning, it is seen to be closely associated with the thing to be proven that is assembled. The similarity is that the agent is not seen as having the power and function of another, and as being closely associated with the main thing to be proven. Since no agent is seen, how can it be similar to the meaning? It is said: Even if it is slightly lacking, it is not the conceptualization of the agent, but this exists in things. Because without relying on some agents, the thing to be proven will not be proven. This is only a slight difference: some agents are self-arisen, such as an axe for cutting. For others, the agent is determined from seeing the agent with the thing to be proven. Because without an agent, the thing to be proven cannot be accomplished. Here, ultimately there is no agent, but only a nominal one. Action is also the reason for the nominal, but here it does not refer to the creator. Therefore, for the grasping aspect of knowledge, different from the grasped aspect, the destroyer who grasps the self, when grasping with the nature of joy etc., one clings to the agent, saying "I saw". When clinging to the nature of understanding the meaning, one will cling to the nature of the thing to be proven. Therefore, the agent with the thing to be proven, the difference of the thing to be proven, must become the cause of some action, but this should not be examined only nominally. Because when experiencing the nature that does not have differences, it is illogical to establish the understanding of things with differences as understanding. Therefore, the cause of establishment, that is, the difference of experiencing the nature of knowledge, must become the action. Here, that action is not different from knowledge, and this itself is the power of the agent, and the experienced itself is also called having action, and not other. Whatever will become the action, the grasp

Since the distinctive nature of the apprehended aspect is not experienced, if one clings to the apprehended aspect as self and clings to the nature of not knowing separation from external objects and the aspect of happiness, then other aspects are also unreasonable. Therefore, it is established as similar to the essence known from inference, not from direct perception. Having the nature similar to the apprehended aspect is not determined by direct perception, however, since understanding the difference of things is unreasonable in other aspects, it is inference. If the similarity of what is known is not different from knowledge, then knowledge is established as grasping the certainty of things. Therefore, here, the action of knowledge as the agent by its own nature does not exist, however, it is inferred from seeing the special actions of the agent, and from that, this action is the main thing to be proven, so this action is inference. The nature of the agent is also because it is the nature of knowledge, and it is also to be inferred that it is called having the action of experiencing the nature of knowledge, because direct perception cannot determine that the apprehended aspect is the essence of knowledge. In particular, The reason for distinguishing is to experience its nature, not the nature of other things, so why say that it is not seen as the thing to be proven, how does it prove it? Because the actions of the agent are seen, this itself is inference as part of the main thing to be proven, and the nature of the agent is also to show the other abilities of the agent, and experiencing its nature is also having actions. Therefore it is said: "That which holds its own nature," meaning that the knowledge that holds the similarity to things becomes the agent. This expresses having actions and becoming the ability of the agent. The understanding of the definite meaning, the action of its own essence, through that action, the main thing to be proven seems to have actions. Its meaning is that because through the ability of similarity, the agent is knowledge, definitely grasping things.
