Situations such as those arising from the obscuration of karma have been excluded; it is not so. In the Compendium of Valid Cognition, in order to establish debate in addition to establishing the characteristics of direct perception, it is also said that the atoms of the eye, etc., are the cause of the knowledge that manifests two moons and blue, etc. Therefore, if the cause of the knowledge of how things appear in other ways is also a thing, then the atoms of the eye, etc., will also become the object of the appearance of two moons and blue, etc., because they are the cause. Therefore, someone said this. When examining the object of direct perception, it is reasonable that the atoms of the eye, etc., themselves are too extreme as the object of the thing. Because they are not the object of the consciousness of the mind, it is not possible to say that it is said in reliance on the consciousness of the mind. Therefore, having thus eliminated the misunderstanding of the classification, characteristics, and scope of direct perception, it is considered that the result is different from valid cognition, thereby eliminating the misunderstanding of the result, and begins to ask what the result is. This has already been explained before. The one who obtains is valid cognition, and the thing that must be obtained without a doubt is its result. So, what is its nature? The measurable, etc., are mentioned. If one understands the thing, one will act, and therefore one can also obtain the action, so the act of understanding the thing is the act of obtaining the thing, so the result of valid cognition that must be obtained without a doubt is itself, and not another. Others say that for the thing that is the nature of the agent, valid cognition is superfluous. Action is also the supreme one who accomplishes the action, therefore, relying on what, will it become its agent, and the action that is the result must undoubtedly exist. On the other hand, it is also said that the act of measuring is valid cognition, therefore, it itself is the result, and in order to show that the result of valid cognition is also the determination of action, it is said that "understanding the measurable." Because understanding the measurable is knowledge, and knowledge is also the result, so knowledge itself will become the result.

Therefore, because it is so, therefore now it is: Now, if knowledge is admitted to be the entity of the result, then, whatever remains of the valid cognition that one wants to establish is completely gone, not even a little remains. Because knowledge is considered a valid cognition, now knowledge is also said to be the result of valid cognition, because it is different from the result, it must be determined that valid cognition is not the nature of knowledge, therefore, if it is said that one does not want the result to be different, then it falls on one's head. If this is said, then the teacher thinks that for one knowledge, there should be establishment, and the object that establishes, the entity of valid cognition and the entity of result are not contradictory, so he said this. From where does he say it? That is, the agent, that is, the object to be measured, knowing this itself, that is, the object to be measured, knowing itself is the establishment that is established. The agent who makes the difference of action by his own difference of action is the agent, although all agents are differentiators, but if an agent can differentiate the action without relying on other agents, then that is the agent. Similarly, here too, by one's own difference, the action of establishing the meaning to be established, knowing the difference, the agent who accomplishes it is the very one who needs to rely on the reason for establishing, and is offered by other agents. Like this, no matter what one relies on, if the knowledge of meaning is not established, then one needs to rely on something other than the reason for establishing, therefore, if the former is interrupted, it will not become the differentiator of the action by its own difference, however, if one does not interrupt the other to be relied upon, it will become the differentiator by its own difference. To show this, it is said to be uninterrupted. From where, for this, there is no interruption, there is no other to be relied upon, when it is offered by others, the one who accomplishes this itself is the agent. For that, that is, when it exists in that way. Without being interrupted by the other to be relied upon, the differentiator by its own difference is the agent, and knowing the difference of meaning is the result of valid cognition, when it exists in that way. Being related to the meaning, knowing this, being related to the meaning, is what is the nature of the meaning.
