If it is said that one will be attached to following existence and non-existence, then why is the consciousness that appears as one moon not experienced? If it is experienced, how can it be uncertain? If uncertainty is admitted, then it must be admitted that all sense consciousnesses have some consciousness of experience, therefore, will the term 'experience' necessarily disappear? How can it be said that the consciousness appearing as two moons is immediately the function of the senses, and that the experience has proven that there is no harm, so it is an interval? Because there is no harm, it is not reasonable to say that the experience is determined to be a non-deceptive valid cognition, because there is no harm, so it will not be established as confusion, how will it be explained? In the Pramāṇavārttika, it is also said that without the supreme reasoning of harm, it is not possible to abandon what is established by the simultaneous experience of consciousness. Some think that the consciousness appearing as one moon itself is immediately fabricated as two by the conceptual consciousness, therefore, clearly experiencing one moon

If the consciousness that directly generates the transformation is not the cause of the transformation, how can it be an interval? If it can generate the consciousness of transformation, then it directly generates it; if it cannot, even with an interval, it will not generate it. The obstruction of the interval is the cause of some things. If sense consciousness is the direct cause of the arising of conceptualization, does conceptualization arise on experienced objects, or on things similar to experience because they are not clear? For example, just as from grasping the characteristics of a mirage, one conceptualizes an image of water similar to it. How does grasping one's own characteristics generate the certainty of experience or something similar to experience? Because one experiences one moon, and because they are dissimilar. Therefore, what is this mode of the arising of conceptualization from sense consciousness? Furthermore, according to the reasoning explained earlier, the consciousness of conceptualization is not clearly apparent, but the consciousness of two moons is always clearly apparent, so how does it become conceptual? If one asks how the conceptualization of water in a mirage appears clearly, it is not that it appears clearly, but when the clearly appearing consciousness that grasps the characteristics of the mirage itself and the conceptual consciousness that has an object similar to a thing enter simultaneously, they combine the appearance and the meaning of the conceptualization into one, and thus mistakenly believe it to be clearly apparent. This also explains the conceptualization of the light of a jewel as a jewel. Therefore, here, you do not have a clearly appearing two-moon consciousness born from the senses, so by what means does the conceptual consciousness that enters simultaneously, without imposing different meanings on clarity itself, become mistaken for clear appearance? Therefore, the experience that arises immediately after the action of the senses, the consciousness of two moons, etc., which appears clearly, is indeed born from the senses, and this statement stands. Furthermore, if the consciousness of two moons, etc., becomes a sense faculty, it is seen to change. Therefore, because of the change,

It is unreasonable to say that it is not born from the senses. If it is said that even if it follows the transformation of the senses, it is not born from the senses, then what is unreasonable about that? What is the reason for following the transformation? What is it? It is the basis, that is, it is established as the basis; whatever is established and designated as a term, its basis, its reason is that. Because the cause of the term of the consciousness born from the senses, which relies on others, is itself, therefore here too, when there is a cause, the term should be applied. The way of its combination has already been said before. Just like the illusion of snakes and so on, the manifestation of the senses, even if there is a transformation of the senses, it will reverse and become the moon, therefore it will become a fault. Similarly, even if the manifestation of the senses is reversed, even if it does not exist, it will not reverse, it will become a fault, therefore, it cannot be said that it is born from consciousness. Whatever is born from consciousness does not follow the transformation and reversal of the senses, just like the illusion of a snake. The consciousness of two moons and so on is also born from consciousness. Only by following its transformation and reversal can the term 'born from the senses' be applied, because the reason for the term is only that. Merely being born from consciousness is also contrary to this, therefore the pervasion is a contradictory determinant. The refutation of the fault is that whatever follows the senses and reverses is not born from consciousness, just like the appearance of blue and so on. The consciousness of the second moon and so on is also the same, this combination is a contradictory pervasion. The pervaded and pervading objects of the two combinations are the terms 'born from the senses' that have just been established. If it is said that the one self with parts, and the conceptualizations such as the low sky, will not change even after detailed examination? It is true, but the teacher Uro believes that the illusion of consciousness can be corrected by detailed examination, that is the meaning.
