Although difficult to establish, it can be established, and therefore it is established. For example, blue and non-blue, or mostly gold with a small amount of silver mixed in. Although it appears as a single yellow, it can be understood as different, because those things are born from a common cause, showing the components of gold and silver. Relying only on a single or common action, but no contradictory result arises from a single close cause, as has been said many times. If it is said that gold mixed with silver has no different appearance, then is it not a different kind? It is not, because harm is seen. Here, the existence of things is established by the infallible consciousness or inference that appears there. The difference and sameness of things are also established by infallible different appearances or inferences. However, in this same appearance, there is no infallibility, because seeing the different appearances produced by closeness, inference infers difference, and harm arises. If the iron block appears as the color of fire, without different appearances, then it should be of the same kind. If a different object arises, then how does that object suddenly change? How suddenly? Because the cause of its existence exists, that object also exists. Later, the cause of that object, that is, the cause of maintenance, fire, is interrupted and transformed, so that object also transforms, like a lamp extinguished when the oil runs out. If there is no iron object there, then how does it suddenly arise? How suddenly? Because it depends on the close cause, such as mentioning cold touch, etc., which refers to the difference of place, and watering, etc. From cold touch, etc., but also because the water flow is interrupted, the transformation of the former can also be established, and because there is a cause, a different object also arises, which is the meaning shown. Why, although there is no difference in the external environment, the difference of that changes.

Because happiness and so on are internal, because they should be experienced. Those who experience them are also able to accomplish the peaceful form of the fruit of happiness, therefore, in the view of other schools, happiness and so on are also established as sentient beings. It goes without saying that the form held by our own view is established. After explaining self-awareness direct perception, in order to explain the direct perception of yogis, it is said, "Like fear, etc." Manifestly clear, able to accomplish the nature of things that benefit, not deceiving, and non-conceptual wisdom is direct perception. Among them, for consciousness, it is difficult to establish that only manifest clarity is valid, so it will be explained for the time being. Only the manifestation of wisdom, that is, whatever appears as the object of grasping, is direct perception. From where does manifest clarity arise? The power of meditation that has been spoken of is power, and the power of meditation is also extremely increased. From the extremely increased meditation, the aspect of consciousness appears clearly. The so-called "like fear, etc." means to indicate the manifest clarity, which is extremely famous as the cause of meditation, as an example. Manifest clarity is also not deceptive, and is not mistaken. In this way, the nature of discrimination, the aspect of consciousness, when meditating, both true and untrue objects will appear clearly, and the untrue manifest clarity is not direct perception, so in order to eliminate it, it is said that it is not mistaken. That manifest clarity is non-conceptual, therefore it is direct perception. Because it appears clearly through meditation, and because it appears clearly, it is established as non-conceptual, and because it is the object of things that are completely purified by valid cognition, it is not mistaken, so why would it not become direct perception? Other direct perceptions are also manifestly clear, free from discrimination, and not mistaken. When explaining this, the cause of manifest clarity, the order of meditation, will be explained. In the world, abiding in equanimity is a yogi, but in the scriptures, it is the nature of samadhi and wisdom, tranquility and insight. Those that yogis have are yogis, that is, constantly abiding in equanimity, and only those.

is devoted to distinguishing. They are related to what is called clear appearance. In order to show what the order of meditation of those is like, one should meditate on the definitive meaning grasped by the cause of listening to the scriptures that are in accordance with the meditation arising from listening. Thinking with reason, that is, with measure, and definitely understanding is thinking with reason. With the knowledge of that as a cause, the meaning is specially separated, arranged and placed in the mind, and then meditated upon, the meditation of those meditators is completed, and when there is the power that is the cause of being able to generate knowledge with a clear image of the meanings, that is what is called clear appearance. The force of clear appearance is taken to be knowledge. For example, just as fear and sorrow and so on appear as clear. This shows that the clear appearance itself and the objects seen as measures in the cause and effect of meditation are shown. The cause and effect objects are definite there, that is the meaning. Whatever appears clearly is non-conceptual, so the clear appearance itself is said to be the cause of non-discrimination. It is not inverted, that is, it has a true object. This shows that from the verses, whatever is called the word that does not deceive, it is said that non-confusion itself is said. Therefore, the clear appearance itself arising from meditation is
