The ground is confusion about things. Direct perception is the statement of the subject itself. Inference is based on what arises from the purity of the subject. How are the statements of the subject and the sign called? If that is the statement of the sign, isn't it understood because it is a statement of combination? Answer: It is said that it abides as its own proof, not truly abiding in accomplishing the understanding of meaning, because it is the same as the subject. What is called a statement is sound. What is called because the connection is uncertain is because of intention. What is called wanting to establish is because the statement of combination is what accomplishes, it is the cause of understanding. The doubt of establishment has been said before. If from that, it is from the statement of the subject. How does it enter? If it is said that sound is impermanent, if asked why, from becoming hesitant, because it is made, the statement of proof enters. What is called understanding inwardly is the meaning of that nature. To that, it is the immediate past. What is called generating that memory is generating the memory of meaning belonging to the three aspects. Also, not only is the meaning merely three aspects, but the word can also establish the ability to only speak of the three aspects. What is called the object statement is the subject. It is impossible for the sign statement to enter because the sign has no object. This has been said, called that even by inference it is not possible, and called also wanting to know from doubt. Furthermore, not only is it not possible, but there is also no doubt. Certainly, it does not indicate that, it is the subject. If whether before or after, it is a place cut off by interruption. What is called four sentences is unreasonable, because it is also not eliminated. If asked, these four sentences are separately indicated because the nature of the subject does not enter, because eliminating becomes harmful. What is certainly admitted is that sound is impermanent. That which does not arise without it is not the quality of space. That which does not arise without it, for example, admitting that without self, what does not arise without it is impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. If those are not admitted, then it does not follow selflessness.

Concluding remarks. The so-called "occasion" is like the Samkhyas arguing to refute the Buddhists' contention that there is no self, saying that even if the "meaning of self" is not mentioned, it can be understood. If it were not so, there would be no reason. The so-called "not the meaning of aggregation" is the distinction of dharma by words that exclude other differences. The so-called "not the meaning of aggregation" is the distinction of the subject of dharma by words that do not exclude others. The so-called "merely distinguishing" is merely the manner of verbal expression. Expressing it in this way, the contradiction of proving the opposite from the distinction of dharma, and proving the opposite from the distinction of the subject of dharma, are merely differences in name, but in reality, they are the same. If it is said that even if "other" is said, it does not mean "in the aggregation," then, because they consider those to have a special nature, it should be proven by the occasion that it is only the meaning of non-aggregation. Otherwise, there is no reason. If it is said that even so, what fault would there be? It is answered that it has already been said, "What is the connection between them?" For example, in the example, the meaning of mere aggregation and the other side of the connection as the reason are not established, so the connection is not established. How is "what" expressed? It is merely the meaning of other. That is, in the example, the action of other aggregation itself is what needs to be proven, and the concomitance of the reason is established. Even so, that which needs to be proven and the concomitance do not exist, because the action of non-aggregation, which is contrary to it, is also contrary to it. If one leads with a reason that has concomitance, it will lead to absurd conclusions, such as fire also having a cold touch, and so on. In this way, all reasons are contradictory, because they pervade and lead to contradictions. The example will also become incomplete, because the pervasion and contradiction of oneself are impossible in the example. Or, in the example, such as in rubble, the action of non-aggregation is incomplete. The so-called "only that much" also refers to contradictions. The so-called "wherever" refers to whatever example. The so-called "concomitance" refers to the connection with the reason. Because there is no reason and example, it cannot be understood from any reason. The dharma of expression.
