It is also not included in refutation, because in this way, faults are not directly pointed out. If asked, how is it not included? The answer is: the term "selflessness" does not prevent the object of conceptualization, nor does it slander it. However, it does not itself acknowledge "self," because its own characteristic is to prevent "actually being selfless," so it does not contradict the statement of "non-existence." If asked, why not prevent the meaning of "self" that appears in conceptualization? The answer is: because it is not what is intended to be established, it has already been indicated by the characteristic of being outside the meaning of what is to be established. If asked, why is it not intended to be established? The answer is: because those who have conceptualization only focus on external prohibition and the words of establishment, and are related to action, this has already been explained in this chapter. Although there is appearance in their minds, they ignore it because it has no function. For example, a man with desire does not generate conceptualization towards the image of a eunuch. If asked, can it be included in the place of refutation by any kind of similarity, or is it included in the statement of sophistry by only a little subsequent speech, etc.? The answer is: it is not similar, that is, it is not intended to be included, because sophistry is also slightly similar, so they will include each other, and if so, then the distinction will be difficult to establish. Therefore, the general characteristic, like the similarity in refutation, is sophistry. The difference in particularities, because it is not included in it, is due to various inverted conceptualizations. The general characteristic should also be said as before, "refutation is sophistry." If asked, why not explain the general characteristic of sophistry in detail? The answer is: because by understanding the characteristics of establishment and refutation that were previously explained in detail, the characteristics of seeming to be true can also be easily understood. For example, for toilets, etc., to be places, and to speak there, this is refutation, because it enters its own place. If asked, not having faults or even if there are faults but not speaking about them is not the place of sophistry, because refutation will not enter it. That is because it is a refutation that seems to be true. Therefore, not entering the place

Because that valid cognition does not hinder the realization of the opponent's desire. It is not a refutation, because its nature is empty, it will hinder realization. For this reason, the scripture is related to "The teaching of observing the existence of reason is not abandoned," and the sect of my teacher Dignāga is not abandoned, that is, it is in accordance with the scripture, and it is said in this treatise, which is the meaning. In this way, I personally uphold the teacher's scripture, and do not rely on the commentators of the teacher, because they say unreasonable words. Therefore, the scripture is related to "The existence of meaning and reason," and other commentaries are not scriptures. Therefore, only uphold the teacher's scripture, because it can show the meaning in accordance with reason. The so-called "existence of meaning" means that the teacher's scripture has the existence of meaning, and there is no fruitless saying at all, which is the synonym. Reason is its logical treatise. Observation is that the teacher Dignāga wants me to realize, that is, himself and other people in the world. Therefore, it refers to the scripture. With immaculate wisdom, it refers to the teacher Dignāga. In this way, it is related to "The intention of the scripture of immaculate wisdom." It is certain that this is related to this, that is, as said here. In this way, it is not as said by oneself and other sects, because they say reasonable words, the meaning of the scripture is in accordance with reason, and that is because the teacher's wisdom is immaculate, if it is as said by others, then the scripture will not be in accordance with reason, and the wisdom will not be immaculate, because it will say unreasonable meanings. If you alone realize reason, then it is said, "Those who have not practiced wisdom cannot realize it." It explains that regardless of oneself and other sects, those who have not practiced wisdom cannot realize the intention of the teacher's immaculate wisdom, and only those who have practiced in life after life can realize it, explaining that oneself is the one who has practiced wisdom in life after life. Thus, the teacher Dignāga.

Understanding the meaning of the classifications of elephants, without any reversal, indicates that it is the meaning classification of the master, not the meaning classification of those who explain. This is also the word of the power generated by one's own long-term habituation. By the power of bad reasoning, this pure nectar of reason is fully revealed by the sunlight of opening speech explanations. Like the autumn moon, I have obtained it, may all the worlds rejoice by obtaining the self of wisdom and auspiciousness that illuminates everything! In the commentary on the 'Treatise on Valid Cognition', the chapter on inference for others, which is the third. The commentary on the 'Treatise on Valid Cognition', whose fame of the wise extends to the ends of the ocean, composed by the master Yeshe Palzangpo, is completed. The great wise abbot Jñānaśrībhadra and the translator Bhikshu Chokyi Tsondru translated it. Kyungpo Mingzhi, Khamza Horthuk requested and offered the Dharma to be translated, and then approached the text to create and translate it.
