It is not necessarily the case that one must enter, because one sees the desire to speak of words that enter into oneself. The very fact that an object has the meaning of a reason also depends on the realization that it is a sign. It is what is to be proven and what is being proven. It is merely the realization that there is no meaning of a sign. If it is merely conceptualization, then it is not the proof of what is to be proven. Why would what is to be proven be accomplished by merely realizing what the other party has acknowledged? If one thinks that things like the father of birth may also exist, then it is said, "There are also." Even if things like birth exist, since the realization of the sign is established only by scripture, it is not done by things. Because it is not realization, it is not a sign. There is no difference from the realization of the existence of things. Because the sign is not established by valid cognition, it is the same as not trusting it. If things like the effect, nature, and non-apprehension, as described above, are reasons, and if it is such a sign, then since it is established by valid cognition, if being established in things is the characteristic of a sign, why are the self and so on of the Samkhyas established? If you say that it is not established by valid cognition for oneself, then for the opponent because of the Buddha and so on, it is not reasonable for the sign to be established by anything other than valid cognition. If what is established by scripture is not a sign, then what is the proof of refutation by a sign acknowledged by others? Becoming a refutation is the other party's imputation. Because one acknowledges contradictory dharmas, it merely shows that contradiction. It is not the proof of what is to be proven. This is the meaning to be expressed. To show that, it is said, for example, that the Mimamsakas and Vaisesikas and those who acknowledge the universal as one, their own manifestation is the object, and the difference determined by time and place is manifested. One and each, the nature of the universal, without leaving any part, the nature of the complete universal is mixed, that is, related. Because the universal has only one nature related to it, there is no other unrelated nature. They also acknowledge that they enter into many desires. In this regard, in this way, it shows the acknowledgement of contradiction. The universal that enters into many manifestations is the object and so on, time and place.

Just as the distinctions of specific occasions are different in other places. In many cases, this is not reasonable, because the universal with a single nature, such as places, etc., is associated with other differences such as time and occasion, which is called contradictory, because one and many are contradictory. If this is admitted, that is, if one admits a dharma that applies to many things, then it is equivalent to admitting another thing with different natures, which means it contradicts oneness. If one denies difference, that is, if one considers it as one, then it will turn into difference, thus contradicting applying to many things. If this is indeed the case, then why? Because difference pervades applying to many things, and since its nature cannot be distinguished, if difference disappears, then applying to many things will also disappear. If its nature is established, how is it established? "That" is called associated with nature. Like a metaphor. "Thing" is called the same nature. "Association" is called understanding as association. How to understand? Whatever applies to many things is different, such as blue and yellow entering into many substances and places, etc. Now, the other party will think, if there is no difference in the universal, then how to understand it? The answer is that if there is no difference, then the situation of applying to many things also exists in the universal, because the disappearance of the pervader (difference) leads to the disappearance of the pervaded (applying to many things), just like one definite manifestation of places, etc. If one admits that one applying to many things does not disappear, then in order to obtain the pervader (difference), it is difficult to abandon difference. If the pervading is like this, but it is claimed that the reason of "one applying to many things" stated by the Buddhists is not established, because it exists outside your own intention, that is, outside the one applying to many things of the universal that you desire, because you do not desire that. If you admit that, then the vow will be harmed by your own intention. If the meaning of the reason is understood, then after understanding, since one does not abandon one's own pervader, therefore one will indirectly understand that there is no other, and one will also understand the dharma of pervading, because whatever admits the pervaded will pervade.
