It should be added with "will perish" and so on. Thus, since the obvious dependence itself is called having a cause, therefore dependent things are nowhere without a cause. There is no non-dependent thing, because without dependence there is no establishment. Therefore, since it arises from a cause, it will also perish from that cause, so those with birth are proven to be impermanent. That which is born is called existent and made. There is also other reasoning to prove that existence itself is pervaded by destruction, because other things called destruction do not exist at all, so existence is pervaded by impermanence. Then, how is it? The thing itself is destruction, and so on. If the thing itself is momentary, or the recognition of the thing itself is momentary, then this is called its own nature. The so-called "due to it" means that due to becoming pottery, there is no cause for such illusion, so it is due to it. The so-called "later" refers to the time after seeing the last moment of the vase after determining that it is pottery. At that time, the moment of the vase should be distinguished. If it is proven to be momentary, then the intermediate and initial states are also proven to be pervaded by the moment. Just like seeing poison before but not knowing poison, after seeing it transformed into a person, just like using the term for someone who has seen poison before, if existence disappears, then there is nothing else to rely on besides it, so existence should be pervaded by destruction, because existence itself, when the cause disappears, destruction also exists because the cause disappears. Because it does not depend on anything other than it, that is its meaning. The so-called "it is also not the ability of the cause" refers to what is said in the case of denying that there is no destruction, and for the meaning of destruction existing in a moment, it has been previously stated that other causes are meaningless. How is it not an ability? There are two distinctions to this: Does the cause of destruction make the thing itself? Or does it make something different from it? Among them, it does not make the thing itself, because the thing has already been established, so the cause cannot do what has already been established. It also does not do something different from it, because the action is different from the thing.
