If it is thought that the meaning of that which is free from rational harm should be grasped, then it is said, "There is no rational dispute," which is to say that it is a means of deceiving those deceitful people who speak obscure words that are difficult to understand. For example, to a blameless Brahmin woman, one might say, "Like this, in secret, no one has seen, so there is no fault." In this case, no reason harms it, because the secret does not appear and there is no sign. The meaning of that statement is very profound, because what is manifest and what is hidden are not the sole meaning of the statement. If there is no omniscient person, then it is impossible for reason to exist by using the meaning of the statement. If a fragment of the Veda is clarified by another aspect, then because it is also sound, doubt will arise as before. Therefore, in order to conclude, it is mentioned that "sound has power" and so on. Therefore, the sound that reveals meaning depends entirely on the person. If someone says, "I know something from the Veda, so I say that," even so, it is only the king diviner himself who says that the meaning of burning with fire is well known, but not the Veda itself. For example, when someone asks for directions, he says, "Next to this tree, this road is like this." And someone else says, "I myself say that this road is like this." One should understand the difference between these, there is no difference in showing from themselves, but saying another tree is just nonsense. If there is no need to rely on convention, then in all meanings it should be logical. The meaning of not burning and so on, from where does this single certainty come? Therefore, it is said, "Who can know what is beyond the senses other than the words that one wants to express." If the meaning is determined according to the direction of convention, how is the meaning determined? The reason for determining the meaning is that the person wants to express this with this sound. Convention clearly clarifies this, and it can be understood at the time of terminology. If sound naturally determines the meaning, then in other places, such as in the holy land and among wanderers, the same sound "Tsora" being used to mean both thief and food would also disappear. If

If it is said that words make the relationship clear by their nature, then, since words have various usages, how can they be limited to one meaning? Like the burning of fire. If it is said that words are determined as they are, is it also like that? For what is it independent? Words are used by people's will, and what certainty is there in following its certainty? Therefore, if words can make it clear, just like saying "eat dog meat," it will also make clear what is not desired. Some people also say that because one part of the scripture is determined to be true and not deceptive, the remaining parts of that scripture are also this one part, and it is the characteristic of a true and not deceptive scripture. This is like saying "it is reason," which only indicates that the meaning of the sound exists. Because it is possible to combine sounds at will, worldly people also see that they use words that do not match external things, therefore they have doubts about the characteristics of scripture. The so-called "perverted perception" refers to not seeing what should be seen. The so-called "all" refers to things. The so-called "everywhere" refers to places and times. If just because it is not seen, it is said to be invisible, can't a slight negation be established? The answer is, because the mind has already run before the application. The reason for saying this is that before the application of the word "existent," there has already been an observation of it, and merely not observing it is because there is no cause, so the word "existent" is not used, which has the result of prevention. Another situation is the invisibility of appearance. This is the application of the word "non-existent." Whatever exists should be able to be seen, and invisibility is the reason for the word "non-existent," because it can be seen. Combined with "having its own cause," the so-called "self" refers to the word "non-existent." Its cause is the invisibility of appearance. Its existence can also prevent the word "existent." Combined with "not having the opposite cause," the so-called "opposite" refers to the word "existent." Its cause is visibility. Its non-existence is merely invisibility. It can also prevent the word "existent." Because the word "non-existent" is established, there is doubt about the non-appearance of invisibility, while for the invisibility of appearance, it is the opposite of doubt. These two have different results. The first is the invisibility of appearance.
