It is so. The purpose of others is the characteristic of expression. Because the knowledge in one's own mind is doubtful, it cannot make others understand. Because one expresses to others the meaning that one has already realized, it is not others, but oneself who makes it understood. If it is said that inference is no different from the three aspects, so sound, which is the inference for the sake of others, should not be spoken of separately, then the three aspects of the nature of meaning make the subject known, and the sign of that subject is made known by the sound of the three aspects. If it is said that although there is a difference in application, the characteristic of the difference in sound should not be spoken of separately, because one realizes the three characteristics of one's own meaning, and also because one realizes the characteristic by that sound, just as any sign that is seen in any direction is said to be related to what is to be proven, that sign itself makes one realize the object to be proven. And since the characteristic of the sign that eliminates it has been taught in the scriptures of one's own meaning, it is taught by the order of words that one wants to teach separately. Since nothing other than the three characteristics of the sign has been taught here, speaking does not become a teaching of the dharma that makes one understand, that is, it does not become a teaching of reason. Therefore, whoever teaches knows how to speak what he has realized of the meaning of the characteristic of the sign, that is, the word of speech that is not dumb, etc., is the expression that makes one realize the characteristic of the sign. If it is said that there is no need to rely on the oral instructions of the method other than the expression of the three characteristics, then if one knows how to teach the three characteristics simply by realizing the characteristic, then one knows that it is the characteristic for the sake of others, this is true. Although this is so, this is the method taught to children who do not know the order of words to teach it, even though they know the characteristic. If there is no pervasion and elimination, then because it is not said that without it, it does not arise, it is not a collection of teachings, and the example and what is to be proven are repeated and spoken. These are not spoken because they are unnecessary. Because one can realize even if it is incomplete by examining the result, it is not said. If you ask how it is related to the meaning, then say nature, etc.

That, the nature is without difference. The establishment of the self is the result. If the self has no cause, then nature and result, etc., will not arise. Similarly, if there are none of those, then the recognition of the signs born from them will also be absent, because the inference enhanced by the recognition of signs will also lack the realization of the entity and the cause. If there is no nature and result, then what does not arise, the blue things to be observed, etc., as well as the eye, appearance, attention, etc., exist without any lack of self. This shows the reversal of what is to be established. It will not be without seeing it, because it only becomes an object, so it shows that the sign will not arise. Thus, indirectly, the objects related to the meaning, appear separately in the inference, that itself is the self-characteristic of the meaning, which is not reasonable, because the meaning taken by the inference, appears in the direct perception as doing other things. Which signs are related to nature and birth, such as the things mentioned before, such a sign is the cause of the consciousness of sign recognition, and what is born from that consciousness is the consciousness of the subject, that is, inference. Therefore, as it is in reality, it is related to things as the relationship is. Is it direct or indirect? Thus, the subject, sign, consciousness, etc., are indirectly related to things. It is said so. Because of that relationship, it is not deceiving. Then how is confusion possible? It is the appearance of that inference. On the emptiness of the self-characteristic of the object, clinging to its characteristic, thereby establishing it as confusion, and not deceiving it is also in a completely confusing way. If it is confusing, then how does it become a valid cognition? Although there is no difference from the consciousness that contradicts the reversed aspect, in individual actions, how reasonably obtaining the treasure to do things, is true, and the other is false. Similarly, inference and the absence of them, although there is no difference in confusion, but it is related to the action of meeting the meaning seen, thereby establishing inference as a valid cognition. Those who do things, those who pursue meaning, should study these two in the scriptures. How reasonable is that which is to be taken and abandoned as the cause of happiness.
